At present, the vast majority of excavators on the market use diesel engine as the power output source to provide power for excavator operation. Under normal operation of the diesel engine, the exhaust fumes shall be colorless or light gray, and dark gray under load operation. If you find that the smoke exhaust of your excavator is not gray, it is likely that the diesel engine has failed.
1. Reasons for the big blue smoke fault of Kobelco sk250-8 excavator:
(1) There is too much oil in the excavator air filter
(2) There is too much oil in the oil pan.
(3) The clearance between piston ring and cylinder liner is too large after piston ring is aligned or worn.
(4) Poor running in of cylinder liner or piston.
(5) In addition to the above reasons, the piston ring cone of the excavator may be installed reversely, or the valve guide of the excavator may be worn.
2. Common causes of large black smoke fault of Kobelco sk250-8 excavator:
(1) Insufficient combustion
(2) The fuel used in the excavator of Kobelco is of poor quality or does not match the excavator model
(3) Poor atomization of excavator injector
(4) Either the air inlet pipe of the Kobelco excavator is blocked or air leakage may lead to the black smoke fault of the Kobelco excavator
(5) Turbocharger failure, resulting in insufficient air intake and black smoke.
3. Causes of white smoke fault of sk250-8 excavator of Kobelco:
(1) Generally, there is water in the fuel used by the excavator
(2) In winter, the exhaust pipe emits white smoke because the intake air temperature is too low and the air humidity is high
(3) In addition, if white smoke is emitted from the excavator of Kobelco, it is generally caused by the failure of the preheater of the excavator
(4) The excavator cylinder head and cylinder gasket are damaged.
