Especially in some current high-altitude operations, if some necessary safety protection is not carried out, it is likely to bring some hidden safety hazards that are unavoidable. So, what kind of safety protection should be carried out in the aerial work platform?
1. Hard hat
1. Before using the helmet, check whether the cap shell, cap liner and cap strap are complete and effective.
2. Before using the helmet, adjust the helmet lining so that each part of the helmet lining is spaced from the cap shell.
3. The cap hoop should be adjusted according to the shape of the human head to prevent the cap from slipping and blocking the line of sight when lowering the head.
4. It is strictly forbidden to combine the two layers of the hard hat into one layer.
5. The hard hat should be worn tightly and properly, and the cap strap should be tied under the jaw and fastened.
6. The validity period of the safety helmet is calculated from the date of completion of the product manufacturing. The plastic cap should not exceed two and a half years, and the FRP cap should not exceed three and a half years.
Second, the seat belt
1. The safety belt must pass the inspection of the inspection unit every six months before it can be used.
2. When working in the following conditions, you should wear a seat belt:
(1) It is possible to carry out work at heights, when entering the workplace, you must wear a seat belt;
(2) When working at heights above two meters;
(3) Working on scaffolding without scaffolding or bar, when the height exceeds 1.5 meters;
(4) When operating on a sloping roof;
(5) For flat-roofed houses, when there is no guardrail within 1.2 meters from the roof edge or roof opening;
(6) Any suspended platform or workbench;
(7) Any guardrail and scaffolding with incomplete planking;
(8) On the ladder near the roof or ground opening;
(9) When there is no reliable anti-falling measures when working in high places.
3. How to use the seat belt correctly:
(1) To tighten the belt, the waist buckle assembly must be fastened and fitted;
(2) When using the safety belt for hanging work, the hook cannot be directly hooked on the seat belt rope, but should be hooked on the hook of the seat belt rope;
(3) It is forbidden to hang the safety belt on a member that is not strong or has sharp angles;
(4) Using the same type of seat belt, each part cannot be replaced without authorization;
(5) Safety belts that have been severely impacted cannot be used even if their appearance has not changed;
(6) It is strictly forbidden to use safety belts to transfer heavy objects;
(7) The safety belt should be hung on a firm and reliable place above, and the height should not be lower than the waist.
3. Safety rope
1. In order to ensure that the high-altitude workers always have safety guarantee during the movement, when carrying out particularly dangerous operations, it is required to tie the safety belt and hang it on the safety rope.
2. The use of hemp rope as a safety rope is prohibited.
3. Buffers should be added when using long ropes longer than 3 meters.
4. A safety rope cannot be used by two people at the same time.
4. Differential protector
1. The self-locking device should be checked before use.
2. The hook of the self-locking device should be hung on the metal ring of the seat belt.
3. Self-locking devices that have been severely impacted should be discontinued.
