The sales data of loaders in August has been freshly released, with a total sales volume of 9440 units, a year-on-year increase of 13.3%. Among them, the domestic sales volume was 4774 units, a year-on-year increase of 18.3%; The export volume was 4666 units, a year-on-year increase of 8.69%.
Electric loaders maintained a high growth trend, with a total of 2477 units sold in August, a slight increase compared to the previous month and a sharp increase of 159% year-on-year.
In terms of cumulative sales, a total of 18821 electric loaders were sold from January to August, a significant increase of 155% year-on-year.
In terms of tonnage, 5-ton models are still the absolute mainstay, with 1529 units sold in August, accounting for 61.7%, while 6-ton models account for 29.1%, indicating that electrification technology is accelerating its penetration into core scenarios with larger workloads and higher intensity.
Since 2025, the monthly penetration rate of electric loaders has shown a steady upward trend, rising from 13.71% at the beginning of the year, breaking through the 25% mark in April, reaching a historical high of 26.57% in July, and still maintaining a high of over 26% in August, reflecting the exponential increase in acceptance of the electric loader market and the comprehensive maturity of the supply chain.
From a trend perspective, with the decline in raw material prices, stricter environmental requirements, and continuous breakthroughs in key electrification technologies, electric loaders have successfully transitioned from the policy support and trial stage to the explosive period driven by spontaneous market demand, and are shifting from an "alternative option" to a "necessary option".
Compared with the penetration rate of electric loaders in the past three years, the penetration rate will reach 3.5% in 2023, 10.4% in 2024, and 22.62% from January to August 2025. According to the current growth trend, the penetration rate for the whole year of 2025 is expected to reach the target of 25%, and even challenge the 30% mark!
