According to the disclosure of the General Administration of Customs, from January to December 2022, China's total import and export value was 630.96 billion US dollars, with a growth rate of 4.4%. Among them, exports reached USD 3593.6 billion, up 7.0%; Imports reached US $2716.00 billion, with a growth rate of 1.1%; The trade surplus is 877.6 billion US dollars.
The internal combustion engine industry is affected by international trade and the characteristics of its own enterprise scale. Although its import and export performance is not as good as the overall situation of the country, it is generally stable and has a positive trend. From January to December, the total import and export volume of the internal combustion engine industry was US $30.086 billion, with a year-on-year increase of - 2.47% (down 1.67 percentage points from January to November), of which the import volume was US $8.803 billion, with a year-on-year increase of - 18.63% (up 0.98 percentage points from January to November), and the export volume was US $21.284 billion, with a year-on-year increase of 6.27% (down 3.46 percentage points from January to November)
In the amount of imports, most of the sub-categories fell year-on-year, especially for gasoline engines. Specifically, from January to December 2022, diesel engine imports reached 945 million US dollars, an increase of - 8.20% year on year; The import of gasoline engine was USD 704 million, up - 38.97% year on year; The import of other complete machines was 2.593 billion US dollars, up - 14.34% year on year; The import of internal combustion engine parts and components reached 4.058 billion US dollars, up - 20.94% year on year; The import of generator sets was USD 502 million, up 5.64% year on year.
In the amount of exports, all sub-categories except gasoline engines increased year-on-year. Specifically, from January to December 2022, the export of diesel engines reached US $1.111 billion, up 19.81% year on year; The export of gasoline engines was 1.468 billion US dollars, up - 17.42% year on year; The export of other types of complete machines reached 2.604 billion US dollars, up 6.17% year on year; The export of internal combustion engine parts and components was USD 110.70, up 5.34% year on year; The export of generator sets reached US $5.03 billion, up 15.33% year on year.
