What Is The Loader Brake?

Aug 29, 2021

Loader brake is a disc brake. Its rotating element is a metal disk working on an end surface, also known as a brake disc. The fixing element is a brake block composed of a small friction block and a metal back plate having a small working area, and 2 to 4 brake blocks in each brake. These brake blocks and their actuating devices are mounted in the clamp stent across the brake discs, called the brake caliper. The brake disc and card clamp constitutes a caliper disc brake. The brake disc and card clamp constitutes a caliper disc brake.

This is just the definition of the brake, and its operation is inkwraway. The diameter D of the brake disk should be as large as possible, when the effective radius of the brake disk increases, the clamping force of the brake clamp can be reduced, and the unit pressure and operating temperature of the brake pad can be reduced. Restricted by the diameter of the rim, the diameter of the brake disc is usually 70% -79% of the rim diameter. Automobiles that have greater than 2T have the upper limit.

The disadvantage of the disc brake is that the friction plate is directly active on the brake disc, there is no automatic increase in friction, and the braking efficiency is low. Therefore, if the brake required for the hydraulic brake system is high, the power assist device must be installed separately. Its advantage is that the work surface is flat, both sides heat transfer, so that the rotation of the disk is easy to cool, it is not easy to deformed, you can use it with confidence.
