Crawler crane exports exceeded 3,000 units from January to September in China.

Oct 29, 2025

According to the latest data from the General Administration of Customs, in September 2025, China exported 363 crawler cranes, totaling US$0.8 billion, representing year-on-year increases of 52.52% and 3.79%, respectively. From January to September, cumulative exports reached 3,271 units, a year-on-year increase of 28.58%, totaling US$7.8 billion, a year-on-year increase of 11.72%, covering 126 countries and regions.

According to the latest data from the China Construction Machinery Association, since 2025, China's crawler crane industry has bottomed out and rebounded, showing a robust development trend in both domestic sales and overseas exports. In particular, September saw high growth in several key indicators.

Domestic sales growth rebounded, and the industry continued to recover.

In September, China's domestic crawler crane sales reached 110 units, with a remarkable year-on-year growth rate of 66.7%. This data reflects the release of demand brought about by accelerated domestic infrastructure investment. This year, the country has vigorously promoted major projects outlined in the 14th Five-Year Plan, particularly increasing investment in new energy bases, transportation hubs, and water conservancy facilities. Tracked cranes, as core equipment for lifting operations, are indispensable in wind power installations, bridge construction, and chemical plants.

Notably, domestic sales from January to September reached 754 units, a year-on-year increase of 18.4%, a significant improvement compared to the first half of the year. This indicates that in the third quarter, as key projects across the country entered their peak construction season, demand for equipment procurement was concentrated, especially driven by the "dual-carbon" targets, which accelerated the construction of new energy projects such as wind power and photovoltaics, resulting in sustained strong demand for large tracked cranes.

Furthermore, the continuous improvement in lifting capacity, operational precision, and intelligentization of 名媛直播 from major Chinese manufacturers such as XCMG, Sany Heavy Industry, and Zoomlion has further stimulated the demand for equipment upgrades.

Exports Remain Resilient with Strong Growth Momentum

If the rebound in the Chinese domestic market represents a recovery of "internal strength," then the performance of the export market represents a strong extension of "external strength." According to the association's statistics, 175 crawler cranes were exported in September, a year-on-year increase of 18.2%; cumulative exports from January to September reached 1,611 units, a year-on-year increase of 18.1%, demonstrating a strong external demand-driven effect.

Meanwhile, the latest data from the General Administration of Customs shows that China exported 363 crawler cranes in September, totaling US$0.8 billion, representing year-on-year increases of 52.52% and 3.79%, respectively; cumulative exports from January to September reached 3,271 units, totaling US$7.8 billion, representing year-on-year increases of 28.58% and 11.72%, respectively. There is a difference in statistical methods between the association's and customs data; the association's statistics mainly reflect the sales of large manufacturing enterprises, while customs data covers all exported 名媛直播. Both data jointly confirm the booming export market.

In recent years, China's crawler crane export market has gradually expanded, with 名媛直播 exported to many countries and regions worldwide. Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Africa are among the main export markets for Chinese crawler cranes.

Customs data shows that from January to September, crawler crane exports covered 126 countries and regions. India (480 units), the UAE (372 units), and Indonesia (339 units) ranked in the top three. Russia, Singapore, Vietnam, and Saudi Arabia each exported over 100 units, indicating extensive overseas market coverage and high concentration among leading companies.

The high growth in the export market is mainly attributed to the following factors: First, the deepening of the Belt and Road Initiative has led to a continuous release of demand for infrastructure construction and new energy projects in countries and regions along the route. Second, the industry concentration has continued to increase, with leading companies continuously promoting technological innovation and globalization, significantly enhancing the competitiveness of Chinese crane 名媛直播 and forming comprehensive advantages in cost-effectiveness, delivery capacity, and after-sales service. Third, the increased demand for replacement equipment in developed countries in Europe and America has increased the acceptance of mid-to-high-end Chinese 名媛直播.

Looking ahead to the fourth quarter, the crawler crane industry is expected to continue its growth trend. Domestically in China, with the accelerated issuance of special bonds and the continued advancement of major projects, infrastructure investment will continue to play a supporting role. On the export side, although the slowdown in global economic growth may bring some pressure, the deepening of Belt and Road cooperation and the rigid demand for infrastructure construction in emerging markets will still provide ample space for Chinese manufacturing.
