At present, the vast majority of excavators on the market use diesel engines as the power output source to provide power for excavators to perform operations. Under normal operation of the diesel engine, the exhaust fumes should be colorless or light gray, and it should be dark gray during load operation. If you find that the smoke of your excavator is not gray, then it is likely that the diesel engine is malfunctioning.
1. The cause of the blue smoke of Kobelco SK250-8 excavator:
(1) Excessive oil in the air filter of the excavator.
(2) There is too much oil in the oil pan.
(3) The gap between the piston ring and the cylinder liner after wear is too large.
(4) Cylinder liner or piston run-in is not good.
(5) In addition to the above reasons, there may be the cone surface of the piston ring of the excavator is reversed, or the valve guide of the excavator is worn out.
2. The common causes of black smoke faults of Kobelco SK250-8 excavator:
(1) Insufficient combustion.
(2) The fuel quality used by the Kobelco excavator is not good or the fuel used does not match the model of the excavator.
(3) Poor atomization of the injector of the excavator.
(4) Either the intake pipe of the Kobelco excavator is blocked or the air leakage may cause the black smoke failure of the Kobelco excavator.
(5) Turbocharging failure, resulting in insufficient air intake and black smoke.
3. Reasons for the white smoke big fault phenomenon of Kobelco SK250-8 excavator:
(1) is generally due to the water in the fuel used by the excavator.
(2) In winter, the white smoke from the exhaust pipe is caused by the intake air temperature being too low and the air humidity being high.
(3) In addition, if the white smoke phenomenon occurs in the Kobelco excavator, it is generally caused by the failure of the preheater of the excavator.
(4) The cylinder head and gasket of the excavator are damaged.
