When the brake pads of our loaders need to be replaced, can we replace them by ourselves? We specialize in the production and sales of loader accessories. Today we will talk about the steps to replace the brake pads of the loader. Are you ready? Come and learn.
To put it simply, first release the brake fluid, then remove the bolts that fix the brake pads, pay attention when lifting the front brake bucket, then use a screwdriver or a crowbar to press the brake piston in, and then take out the brake pads and replace them directly. Specific steps are as follows:
1. Loosen the air nozzle and remove the screw.
2. Pry off the brake pad and gently pry back the piston.
3. Install new brake pads, tighten the screws and bleed nozzles.
In addition, specific analysis of specific circumstances is required. There are generally two situations: the brake pliers are exposed outside, and the brake pliers are in the wheel frame. When the brake fixing caliper is exposed, first loosen the brake pad fixing pin or fixing screw. Clamp it in the fixing hole of the brake pad with the lifting rod and lift it outwards. Remove the old brake pads. Loosen the oil inlet screw of the brake oil pipe. When the brake piston is stuck on the brake disc with the lifting rod, it is difficult to lift the brake piston until the piston returns to the clamping cavity, so that a new brake pad can be replaced. If the brake pads are not suitable, repeat the above method until they are suitable. After installation, exhaust the air from the fixture. When the brake caliper is in the wheel frame, the tire and brake caliper should be removed. At this time, directly take out the brake pads. When pushing the piston back into the clamping caliper cavity with the lifting rod, install the brake pad. Then put on the gripping pliers. Connect the brake hose. Bleed the air from the clamping jaws. Put on the tires. Note: The air pressure must be sufficient when exhausting.
