Loader Break-in Period Maintenance And Upkeep

Nov 19, 2025

The following six points should be noted during the break-in period of a loader:

1. Loader operators should receive training and guidance from the manufacturer or a specialized organization to fully understand the loader's structure and performance. Before operating the machine, they should read the "Product Operation and Maintenance Manual" and perform operation and maintenance as required.

2. During the break-in period, the workload should generally not exceed 60% of the rated load to prevent overheating caused by prolonged continuous operation.

3. Regularly observe the readings of all instruments. If any abnormalities occur, stop the machine immediately and troubleshoot the problem. Stop operation until the fault is resolved.

4. Regularly check the levels and quality of lubricating oil, hydraulic oil, coolant, brake fluid, and fuel. Pay attention to checking the overall sealing of the machine. During the break-in period, lubrication of all lubrication points should be strengthened, and grease should be added to lubrication points every shift (unless otherwise specified).

5. Keep the machine clean and promptly tighten any loose parts to prevent accelerated wear or loss of parts due to loosening.

6. After the break-in period, mandatory maintenance should be performed on the machine, including inspection and adjustment, and attention should be paid to changing the oil.
