Because the loader does not have an odometer, the oil replacement cycle is counted by the working time of the engine. The first maintenance is 50 hours, and then every 250 hours is replaced. The brand of oil is commonly used in the Great Wall, Kunlun and so on. A few of them also use more advanced mobil oil, but personally, it seems a bit wasteful.
The gearbox of the loader is similar to the automatic transmission on the ordinary car, but also the torque converter and the planetary gear shift mechanism, but the structure is huge, the gear position is relatively small, and there are only two forward gears and one reverse gear. This gearbox requires the use of AF 8 hydraulic transmission oil. If it is used in low temperature and cold area for a long time, ATF 220 or DEXRON- III or Donax TC transmission oil should be used. The replacement cycle is also calculated in time. It is first maintained at 100 hours and then replaced every 1000 hours. The brand of transmission oil is also made in China, such as the Great Wall and Kunlun.
Some people are cheaper or more economical. They use the same oil as the hydraulic system in the gearbox, for example, No. 46 anti-wear hydraulic oil. This is very wrong. The hydraulic transmission oil and the anti abrasion hydraulic oil are completely different whether it is the viscosity, the anti shear ability of the oil film or the lubrication performance. The use of ordinary hydraulic oil will greatly damage the gearbox and cause the early damage of the gearbox. In practice, such failures often occur, and I hope the majority of car owners can take warning.
One other thing to note is that no matter your car is used, or the time of use is very small, the replacement cycle is not reached in one year, and the oil and gearbox must be replaced. Because these two kinds of oil are exposed to the natural oxidation in the air, the performance of the oil will decline a year later and can not meet the requirements of the loader, so it is required to replace it at least once a year.
