Classification Of Loader Oil Cooler

Nov 29, 2021

The function of the oil cooler is to cool the lubricating oil and keep the oil temperature within the normal working range. On high-power enhanced engines, oil coolers must be installed due to large heat load. When the engine is running, the lubricating ability decreases because the oil viscosity becomes thinner with the increase of temperature.

? oil cooler type:

? 1. Water cooled oil cooler.

?? place the oil cooler in the cooling water and use the cooling water temperature to control the lubricating oil temperature. When the lubricating oil temperature is high, it is cooled with cooling water. When the engine is started, it absorbs heat from the cooling water to rapidly increase the temperature of the lubricating oil. The oil cooler is composed of aluminum alloy shell, front cover, rear cover and copper core tube. In order to strengthen cooling, a radiator is sleeved outside the pipe. The cooling water flows outside the pipe, and the lubricating oil flows inside the pipe for heat exchange. There is also a structure that allows oil to flow outside the pipe and water to flow inside the pipe.

? 2. Air cooled oil cooler.

?? the core of air-cooled engine oil cooler is composed of many cooling pipes and cooling plates. When the vehicle is running, the engine oil cooler core facing the air cooling heat is used. The air-cooled oil cooler requires good ventilation around. It is difficult to ensure sufficient ventilation space for ordinary vehicles, and it is generally rarely used. Due to the high speed and large cooling air volume of racing cars, this cooler is mostly used for racing cars.
