During the work of Liebherr excavator, the excavator engine suddenly stalled. Press the hand oil pump and the oil supply system can continue to start after it is filled with diesel. However, if the operation time is less than 3min, it will suddenly stall.
Fault analysis and diagnosis of sudden flameout of Liebherr excavator engine:
Practice has proved that the above faults are mostly caused by blockage or air leakage in the oil supply system.
2 during maintenance, remove the oil return screw of the fuel injection pump and press the oil transfer pump with your right hand. It is felt that the oil quantity meets the regulations, but there are many impurities from the diesel filter.
3. Disassemble the diesel filter and check it. It is found that the filter element has deteriorated, there is a lot of oil sludge inside, and the diesel filter element has lost its function.
4. However, after replacing the diesel filter element with a new one, try the engine again, and the fault phenomenon remains the same.
5. Remove the oil return screw of the diesel filter and press the oil transfer pump. It is found that the oil output of the oil transfer pump is normal and the sealing of the oil transfer pump is good.
6. Remove the side cover plate of the fuel injection pump, unscrew 4 fixing nuts of the high-pressure oil pipe, pry the plunger with a flat screwdriver, and observe whether each cylinder has oil, and the result is normal.
7. The combustion chamber is poorly sealed, so it should be difficult to start the diesel engine. This diesel engine is easy to start, so it should not be a problem of valve leakage, valve clearance or fuel supply advance angle
8. Therefore, disassemble the oil transfer pump and check the roller and ejector rod of the oil transfer pump. During the inspection, it is found that the roller enters the ejector rod sleeve, the position difference between the two locking plates is 90 degrees, and the roller is stuck and cannot rotate back and forth. As a result, the oil transfer pump cannot work after the diesel engine is started.
9. Adjust the relative position of the two locking plates to meet the requirements, and then try the machine again to eliminate the fault.
