Differences About The Excavator With Tier3 Engine And Tierl And Tier2

Since the reliability of Tier3 engines is generally relatively high, compared with other models, pay attention to the following.


1. The standard and backup system of the electronic throttle are different 1.1 Under the standard system standard system, the throttle of the Tier3 engine is controlled by the Liugong excavation electrical control system through J1939, without actuator controller and actuator. When there is a problem with the standard throttle, Generally, the communication lines 751# and 753# are broken or the matching resistance is faulty, and there is a wiring error at the standard/standby system switch.


1.2 Backup system In the backup system, the throttle of the Tier3 engine is controlled by the backup throttle potentiometer, and the throttle is controlled by outputting a voltage (0.5-4.5V). When there is a problem with the backup throttle, the communication lines are generally 751# and 753# There is an open circuit or a matching resistance failure, and there is a wiring error at the standard/standby system switch.


   2. Several analog collection points are different 2.1 Water temperature The water temperature of the excavator equipped with Tier3 engine is collected by its ECM and sent to Liugong controller through J1939, while the water temperature of Tierl and Tier2 engines is collected by PT1000 water temperature sensor.


  2.2 Speed The speed of the Tier3 engine installed by its ECM is collected by J1939 and sent to the Liugong controller, while the speed of the Tierl and Tier2 engines is collected by the speed sensor.


   2.3 Oil pressure The oil pressure of the Tier3 engine is collected by its ECM and sent to the Liugong controller through J1939, while the water temperature of the Tierl and Tier2 engines is collected by the oil pressure sensor.


  3. After the data display under the standard and standby system is switched from the standard to the standby system, the above three parameters of the Tier3 engine cannot be displayed correctly, while the Tierl and Tier2 engines are not affected.
