Oct 15, 2025

1, Check the battery

1. Check the battery level before use to ensure it is sufficient or at least meets the current work requirements.

2. Regularly check the electrolyte level and specific gravity, and add distilled water if necessary.

3. Clean the surface and terminals of the battery, remove dirt and corrosive substances.

4. Check the battery connection wires and bolts to ensure they are securely fastened without any looseness.

2, Check the charger

1. Confirm that the charger matches the battery model and avoid using mismatched chargers to prevent damage to the battery.

2. Test the charging function of the charger to ensure that it can charge the battery normally.

3. Regularly clean the surface of the charger to prevent dust and dirt from affecting charging efficiency.

3, Check the hydraulic system

1. Check the oil level and color of the hydraulic oil tank to ensure that the oil is sufficient and free of impurities, and replace it if necessary.

2. Check the hydraulic pipelines and joints, and promptly repair any leaks.

3. Test the hydraulic pump, distribution valve, and hydraulic cylinder to ensure the normal operation of the hydraulic system.

4, Check the tires

1. Regularly check tire pressure to ensure compliance with manufacturer standards.

2. Observe tire wear to ensure it is uniform and not exceeding the limit, and replace with a new tire if necessary.

3. Clean the surface of the tire and the wheel rim, and check and tighten the tire bolts.

5, Check the brake system

1. Test the performance of the driving brake and handbrake to ensure that the brakes are sensitive and reliable.

2. Check the wear of brake pads and brake discs, and replace them promptly if necessary.

3. Clean all components of the brake system to ensure there is no dirt or foreign matter.

4. Adjust the brake clearance to ensure stable braking performance.

6, Check the motor and control system

1. Test the starting and operating performance of the motor to ensure that there are no abnormal sounds or overheating phenomena.

2. Check the working status of each component of the control system (such as contactors, relays, etc.) to ensure accurate and reliable control.

3. Check if the electrical connections between the motor and control system are secure and reliable to prevent loose connections that may cause poor contact.

7, Lubricate mechanical components

1. Identify the components and lubrication points that require lubrication according to the forklift maintenance manual.

2. Use appropriate lubricating oil or grease to lubricate the lubrication points.

3. Pay attention to following the manufacturer's lubrication recommendations and usage instructions.

8, Check safety equipment

1. Check whether the seat belt is intact and whether the buckle function is normal.

2. Test the working status of warning lights and turn signals to ensure that they can emit warning lights normally.

3. Check if other safety devices (such as rearview mirrors, guardrails, etc.) are securely installed and functioning properly.

9, Clean forklift

1. Use cleaning agents and a soft cloth to clean the exterior of the forklift and the fork frame, removing grease and dust.

2. Regularly clean the interior and electrical component surfaces of the forklift to prevent dust and dirt accumulation.

3. Thoroughly inspect the status and fastening of all components of the forklift during the cleaning process, and promptly handle any abnormalities.
