Forklift drivers should not only be familiar with the performance structure of forklifts, but also master the basic knowledge of safe operation:
1, When the road surface is good, the lifting capacity of the forklift should be based on its rated weight. When operating under poor road conditions, the lifting capacity should be appropriately reduced and the driving speed should be slowed down.
2, When loading goods, the distance between the forks should be adjusted according to the size of the goods, and the weight of the goods should be evenly shared between the two forks to avoid uneven loading or sliding of the moving goods to one side. After inserting the fork into the stack, the fork wall should be in contact with one side of the cargo, and then the door frame should tilt backwards. Raise the fork about 0.2 meters above the ground before driving.
3, It is strictly prohibited to drive at high speeds and make sharp turns. When lifting or lowering goods, no one is allowed under the crane.
4, When transporting goods on slopes exceeding 7 degrees, the goods should be placed above the slope. During the transportation of goods, sudden braking is not allowed to prevent the goods from slipping out. When handling large volume goods, if the goods block the line of sight, the forklift should reverse and drive at low speed.
5, It is strictly prohibited to idle the engine unattended after parking, and it is also not allowed to lift goods in the air while the driver leaves the driving position.
6, When the forklift stops halfway and the engine is idling, it should tilt back to retract the door frame. After stopping, the carriage should be lowered and tilted forward to make the fork land on the ground.
7, If suspicious noise or abnormal phenomena are found during the work process, the vehicle must be stopped immediately for inspection, and measures must be taken to eliminate them in a timely manner. Work cannot continue until the fault is eliminated.
8, After a day of work, it is necessary to refuel the fuel tank. This not only disperses the moisture in the tank, but also prevents the water droplets formed by the brake gas from dissolving into the oil at night.
9, No one is allowed to use a forklift at will. In order to improve the service life of the forklift and prevent accidents, maintain the optimal operating condition of the forklift and ensure the normal operation of all parts, it is necessary to strictly perform regular maintenance on this machine during use.
Before each shift, the following areas must be inspected:
1, Check the fuel storage level.
2, Check for leaks in oil pipes, water pipes, exhaust pipes, and all accessories.
3, Check if the capacity of the working fuel tank meets the requirements.
4, Check the tightness of the wheel bolts and whether the tire pressure has reached the specified value.
5, Check the flexibility and reliability of the steering and braking systems.
6, Check if there are any connections in the electrical circuit, if there are any loose joints, and if the horn, turn signal, brake light, and various instruments are working properly.
Work can only begin after the above preparations have been completed and checked for accuracy.
