1. Disassembly of hydraulic pump
① Lower the working device to the ground and stop the engine.
② Operate the joystick and pedal several times to depressurize the hydraulic line.
③ Slowly release the air breather on the fuel tank to relieve the pressure.
Be careful not to burn the skin due to residual liquid spilled by pressure.
④ Loosen the drain plug at the lower part of the hydraulic oil tank to drain the oil (the hydraulic oil tank capacity is 180L).
⑤ Remove the hexagon bolts and disconnect the piping, as shown in Figure 3-1.
⑥ Disconnect the pilot line hose, as shown in Figure 3-2.
⑦ Remove the hexagon bolts and disconnect the pump suction pipe, as shown in Figure 3-1.
When the pump suction pipe is disconnected, the oil in the pipe flows into the container
⑧ Lift the pump (the mass is 120kg) and remove the mounting bolts of the pump.
Pull the pump unit out of the pump casing. When disassembling the pump unit, check whether all hoses have been disconnected.
2. Installation of hydraulic pump
① Install in the reverse order of removal.
②Remove the oil filter and clean it.
③Replace the new oil return filter.
④ Remove the air breathing apparatus and clean it.
⑤ Add oil to the specified oil level.
⑥Exhaust air from hydraulic pump
a. Remove the air valve plug (2 pcs).
b. Lightly tighten the plug C. Start the modern excavator engine and run at low idle speed, then check whether oil flows out from the plug d. Tighten the plug
⑦ Start the engine and run it at low idle speed (3~5min) to circulate the oil to the whole system.
⑧ Confirm the oil level and check for oil leaks.
