Hitachi excavator track adjustment device is installed on the side frame, the structure is shown in Figure 5-38. Consists of spring 5 and adjusting device cylinder 6. The spring 5 absorbs the load applied to the front guide wheel, and the adjusting device cylinder 6 is used to adjust the deflection of the track.
Grease is injected into the oil chamber A of the adjusting device cylinder 6 through the grease nipple 1. The pressure of the grease pushes the piston rod 8, thus reducing the deflection of the track.
In order to increase the deflection of the crawler, it is necessary to loosen the nut 1-1.5 turns counterclockwise to release the grease from the cylinder of the crawler adjustment device through the grease overflow port.
Warning: There is high-pressure grease in the cylinder of the track adjustment device.You cannot release the high-pressure grease by removing the grease nipple or nut in the valve assembly.
