Fault phenomenon:
When the excavator is working, the engine speed drops (from 1980 to more than 1400), and the excavator still emits black smoke, which affects the normal operation of the excavator.
Troubleshooting steps:
1. First, clean the oil circuit of Caterpillar excavator after the fault occurs Replace the oil filter and oil-water separator previously used by the excavator with new ones, and replace the air filter element of the excavator with new ones
2. Check whether the oil used by Caterpillar excavator matches the excavator model? Has the oil in the excavator oil tank become dirty or increased?
3. Check the engine speed when the excavator is unloaded The normal speed is 1980 RPM plus or minus 30 rpm
4. Then, the PS control pressure gauge of the excavator is used to detect that the pressure without load (3030kpa without load and 980kpa under load) is normal.
5. Check the voltage value of PRV solenoid valve of Caterpillar excavator to see whether the PRV valve works normally?
6. All normal. Check whether the working pressure value of Caterpillar excavator under double pump load is normal?
7. When the dual pump is loaded, the working pressure value is normal, and then check the engine (check the fuel pressure, common rail pressure and boost pressure of the engine).
8. If the above steps are normal, check and debug the engine valve of Caterpillar excavator and adjust it to 0.25mm in and 0.4mm in. Is there still any fault?
9. After debugging the engine valve, the black smoke from the holding machine of Caterpillar excavator was eliminated.
