The performance of forklift battery (hereinafter referred to as battery) will directly affect the use of electric forklift. The daily inspection and maintenance of battery shall be carried out in strict accordance with the specifications.
I Daily maintenance;
The battery shall be charged immediately after each discharge.
Each discharge shall not exceed 80% of the total capacity of the battery.
II Weekly maintenance;
Check whether the cable screws between the battery units are fixed.
If the battery is not equipped with an automatic filling system, check the height of electrolyte after charging. When it is lower than the allowable liquid level (the height of the isolation plate or the specified height), add qualified distilled water to the specified height; When it is higher than the allowable liquid level, it shall be pumped out to the specified height.
Check whether there is water in the battery box. If water is found, it must be drained immediately.
III Monthly maintenance;
Before the end of charging, check the voltage of all electrode units and batteries and make records.
After charging, the electrolyte density and temperature of each battery unit shall be measured and recorded. If there is a big difference from the previous measured value, professional personnel should be invited to check it.
IV Annual maintenance;
The insulation resistance of the forklift truck and the battery shall be checked by professionals once a year.
Check the charger once according to the instructions to ensure that all functions are normal.
V General precautions;
The battery shall be kept clean and dry to avoid leakage current.
If there is any liquid in the battery box, it must be sucked out immediately with a straw.
If the internal and external paint of the battery is damaged, it shall be repaired immediately to protect the insulation of the outer box from corrosion.
If it is found that the battery unit needs to be replaced, it should be carried out by professionals.
Vi Storage of storage battery;
The battery shall be stored in a dry and frost free place.
If the battery is to be stored for a long time, it shall be compensated and charged once a month.
Please note that too long storage time will affect the overall life of the battery.
