The use of forklift has limitations. In order to strengthen the convenience of forklift work, forklift attachment were born
After the attachment are installed with the forklift, the original design state of the forklift has actually been changed. Therefore, what will happen to the bearing capacity of the forklift in the actual operation process? Will it further affect the operation and use of forklifts? Before analyzing the situation, it is necessary for us to understand the following concepts, which are the factors most closely related to the actual bearing capacity of forklift; It is also indispensable for calculating and judging the comprehensive bearing capacity of forklift.
1. Load
The load of attachment refers to the maximum weight that attachment can safely carry under a certain load center.
2. Load center distance
Load center distance refers to the distance from the front surface of the attachment frame to the center of gravity of the cargo.
3. Load loss distance
The distance from the front surface of the fork frame to the front surface of the attachment frame (i.e. the thickness of the attachment).
Forklift / attachment (combination) bearing capacity
Bearing capacity is an important aspect to be considered in the selection of forklifts and attachment. The combined (comprehensive) bearing capacity of forklifts / attachment, that is, the maximum bearing weight of goods, will be reduced for the following two reasons:
1) The moment generated by the self weight of the attachment offsets part of the bearing moment of the forklift.
2) Because the thickness of the frame structure is greater than that of the fork, the load center of the forked goods (the distance from the center of the goods to the front end face of the forklift fork frame) moves forward in actual operation, which also offsets part of the bearing torque of the forklift.
Before fitting attachment (according to the principle of force distance balance):
M forklift = m rated load = g rated load x (c + x)
After installing attachment:
M rated load = m goods + m attachment
Where: m goods = g goods x (X-S + COG)
M genus = g genus x (x – S + V + L / 2)
Maximum weight of cargo g = (M rated load – m attachment) / (X-S + COG)
Factors to be considered when selecting attachment
Facing the working environment, operation mode and different forklifts used or to be purchased by enterprise customers in different fields, how can we choose a forklift attachment suitable for the working environment of our own enterprise? Usually, the customer must provide the actual working conditions and requirements of attachment to the forklift main engine factory or its sales agent or attachment company. According to these important information, the forklift main engine factory or its sales agent or attachment company can carry out the selection of attachment.
The following are the factors to be considered when selecting attachment:
1) What kind of goods are handled by customers: such as paper rolls, soft bags, barrels, household appliances, tubes, pallets and other items.
2) Cargo weight: (including pallet) kg, length (along the driving direction) mm, width / diameter mm, height mm.
3) Outer surface / contact surface (outer packaging).
4) Transportation mode: A. pallet transportation: the size of cargo pallet is mm, and the height of pallet jack is mm. B. non pallet transportation: the distance between cargo stacks is mm, and the number of goods
5) Specific handling information / actual environment:
How will the customer handle these goods: push / clamp / rotate (horizontal in the driving direction) / roll (horizontal in the driving direction) / lateral movement / roll (along the driving direction) / loading at the rear of the vehicle / loading at the side of the vehicle.
6) Current customer status information: how has the customer solved the handling problem so far? How do they want to improve? What do they think?
7) What are the limitations in practical application: height, length, width, weight and others.
8) Application fields of attachment: smelters, construction sites, warehouses, special occasions, etc.
9) Environmental factors: explosive area, dust, high temperature, low temperature, acidity, sugar, salt, food, nutrition, beverage, etc.
10) About forklift: forklift model, gantry type, type of selected attachment and action function. The number of additional oil circuits of forklift shall be determined according to the type and function of attachment:
a. A set of attachment with action functions. The forklift needs to provide a single attached refueling path (such as the left and right lateral movement of the Sideshifter);
b. For the attachment with two groups of action functions, the forklift needs to provide double attached refueling paths (such as the tensioning arm / clamping / rotation of the paper roll clamp);
c. For the attachment with three groups of action functions, the forklift shall be provided with double attached refueling circuits and equipped with a solenoid valve device (such as the rotating side
Opening / clamping, side shifting and rotation of movable soft bag clamp).
11) Existing forklifts or new cars? (whether there is any problem of forklift transformation, such as adding additional oil circuit, etc.)
12) Installation cost of attachment (labor cost, modification time of hydraulic system (if necessary), cost of corresponding options, etc.)
Appendix 1:
Selection of some common attachment
Bucket clamp
1. Weight of goods: determine the load of attachment.
2. Barrel diameter (whether it is a standard oil barrel or not): determines the shape of barrel clamp arm.
3. The initial placement form of the bucket (vertical or horizontal): determines the type of bucket clamp.
4. Stacking mode of barrels and disposal of goods in barrels (forward tilt, left-right tilt, etc.): determine the type of barrel clamp.
5. Type of goods in the barrel (flammable, volatile, explosive, etc.): decide whether to choose explosion-proof attachment.
6. Quantity of each clamping: determine the type of attachment.
Paper roll holder
1. Weight of paper roll: determines the load of attachment.
2. Diameter of paper roll (whether the diameter is uniform): determine the opening range and structural form of attachment.
3. Paper (kraft paper, newsprint, white cardboard, coated paper, toilet paper, etc.): determine the splint form of the fixture.
4. External packaging of paper roll (such as kraft paper packaging, plastic film packaging, etc.): determine the splint form of the attachment.
5. Number of paper rolls held each time: determine the clamping arm form of the attachment (whether the long arm is separated).
Rotator
1. Weight of goods: determine the load of attachment
2. Section center distance of fork sleeve under or on the side of container (warehouse cage, molten iron ladle, etc.): determines the fork frame in front of rotator
Width and position of fork.
3. Length of container or goods along the fork direction: determine the load of attachment and the fork length.
4. Working environment of attachment (such as normal temperature, high temperature, fishery, etc.): determine the type of attachment.
5. The minimum height of the upper end of the original fork frame of the forklift from the ground: determine the type of fork (type A, type B or special fork), because it is necessary to ensure that the fork can land after hanging on the attachment.
Soft bag clip and flat clip
1. Weight of goods: determine the load of attachment.
2. The maximum size of goods across the fork direction: determines the extension arm range of the attachment.
3. The maximum size of the goods along the fork direction: it not only determines the arm length of the attachment, but also affects the selection of the load of the attachment.
4. Height of goods: it determines the arm height of attachment.
5. Type of goods (soft, hard, whether the internal 名媛直播 are resistant to extrusion, etc.) and external packaging (whether the external packaging is allowed to be extruded in bulk or with bundles): determine the clamping arm form of the attachment.
6. Quantity of each clamping: determine the arm length and arm extension range of the attachment.

4. The packing form of goods (packed in boxes, bags, whether there is winding film, etc.) and the road conditions (flat and bumpy) during forklift operation determine whether the attachment are equipped with blocking shelves.
