The following points should be paid attention to during the starting and driving of forklift:
(1) Before driving, the driver shall first inspect and clean the site and passage to make it suitable for forklift operation and driving;
(2) When starting, first close the emergency switch and open the electric lock, then pull the position of the direction switch, sound the horn, and then start slowly and accelerate gradually. It is forbidden to start quickly by pressing the speed regulating pedal to prevent the motor from burning out due to excessive starting current;
(3) When driving, it shall be accelerated gradually, and it is not allowed to drive at low speed for a long time; When meeting and giving way, empty vehicles shall give way to heavy vehicles;
(4) It is strictly forbidden to pull the direction switch during driving, only after the vehicle stops stably. To pull the direction switch for reversing. Avoid sudden braking as far as possible. In case of emergency, quickly pull down the knife switch, step on the brake pedal and stop immediately;
(5) Sound the horn when starting and turning. When turning, downhill, uneven road or passing through narrow channels, slow down and pay attention to safety;
(6) When driving on the right side of the road, the forklift should be 200 mm to 100 away from the road; When two vehicles drive in the same direction, keep a distance of more than 2m in front and back;
(7) When multiple forklifts are driving on the platform, the distance between the front and back shall be more than 5m. When they are in the same direction on a narrow platform, they shall not be parallel, and they shall be more than 0.3m away from the edge of the platform;
(8) When a forklift is towing a trailer, it is forbidden to drive continuously on a curve to avoid large current discharge and safety impact; No matter full load, no load, uphill, downhill, etc., reverse driving is strictly prohibited; When turning, slow down to avoid goods scattering. At the same time, pay attention to the difference of inner wheels to prevent the trailer from scratching the inside or driving out of the road;
(9) Generally, the traveling motor of battery forklift and the motor of oil pump shall not work at the same time to prolong the service life of the battery;
(10) When the working voltage is lower than the minimum limit voltage of the vehicle, stop working and charge in time;
(11) If any abnormality is found during driving, stop immediately for inspection and eliminate the fault in time; It is forbidden to carry people on forks and trailers; It is forbidden to drive with faults.
