Adjustment of forklift chain. Most of the chains on the gantry of today's forklifts are of double chain type, including two types: piece lifting chain and sleeve stick chain. The structure is as follows: piece lifting chain 1, articulated shaft 2, upper buckle 3, chain piece 5, pin shaft 6, lower buckle; Sleeve roller chain 1, chain 2, pulley 3, adjusting bolt 4, chain fixing plate 5, fixing bolt 6, fork 7, adjusting nut. The forklift chain is too long and the lifting height cannot meet the requirements; The forklift chain is too short, which will cause the forklift to run out of the gantry channel steel. The two chains are loosened and tightened, resulting in overload and partial load of one chain, which will cause unstable and inflexible movement of the fork frame and the inner gantry. Therefore, the two chains must be adjusted. The adjustment method is:
1. Park the forklift on a relatively flat site, make the gantry vertical, lower the forklift to the ground, and lower the piston (plunger) of the lifting hydraulic cylinder to the bottom dead center.
2. Install the chain. One end of the two chains is connected to the fork frame and locked.
3. Make the chain bypass the pulley, and the other end of the chain is connected with the flange of the lifting hydraulic cylinder block or the beam of the outer portal frame, and adjust the chain length with hinge bolts.
4. Press the chain with a finger at 1000mm from the ground with a force of 49n. The moving distance of the chain should be less than 20mm, and adjust the other chain in the same way.
5. After the two chains are adjusted, lift the fork and check the tightness of the two chains. The length should be consistent.
For maintenance and inspection, we should first check whether the forklift chain length is consistent. If the length difference is greater than 5mm, it should be readjusted; The chain in forklift accessories shall be free of cracks and deformation, and shall rotate flexibly, and the elongation of every 20 chains shall not exceed 8mm. If cracks, deformation and elongation exceed the provisions, they must be replaced; The wear of the chain pin shall not exceed 5% of the original diameter. It shall be replaced in case of excessive wear, bending, fatigue crack and serious corrosion.
