1) When there are nicks and dents on the surface of the cross shaft journal and the wear of the journal is greater than 0.04mm, it can be repaired by chromium plating or iron plating. The four journals can also be ground to the same size, and then equipped with an enlarged needle. When the carbon layer is insufficient after reducing the journal, carburizing and heat treatment shall be carried out. The roundness and cylindricity error of the journal after grinding shall not be greater than 0.01mm; The Perpendicularity Error of the two axes shall not be greater than 0.1mm.
2) During assembly, the fit clearance between journal and bearing is 0.02-0.09mm, and the maximum clearance shall not be greater than 0.13MM.
3) The needle roller of the universal joint bearing is worn, broken, grooved, etc. and should be replaced.
2. Inspection and repair of universal joint sliding fork
1) If the sliding fork of the universal joint is broken, it should be replaced.
2) When the needle roller bearing seat hole is worn, it can be repaired by surfacing method, and then bored to the matching size.
3) The threads of the bearing cover plate shall be fastened, and the fit between the stop groove and the pin ring shall not be loose.
