Maintenance Method Of Main Parts Of Forklift Gear Pump

Apr 24, 2022

Maintenance methods for main parts of forklift gear pump:

1. Forklift gear: the outer circle of the gear is worn and glued, which increases the radial clearance. If it is light, it has no obvious impact on the use and can not be repaired; If it is serious, replace the gear.

2. The burr on both sides of the gear can be gently removed by grinding the line, and the wear mark on both sides can be removed by grinding; In case of serious wear, it can be ground flat on the grinder. However, as long as the end face of one gear is worn, the other gear also needs to be ground at the same time to ensure that the thickness difference between the two gears is within 0.005mm. During grinding, attention should also be paid to the high accuracy of end face and hole, end face and end face. After grinding, the sharp edges and burrs shall be removed with oilstone, but chamfering is not suitable.

3. Oil pump gears work in one direction, so the tooth surface is worn on one side. The gear with worn tooth surface can be deburred with oilstone, and the meshing orientation of the gear can be changed to restore the working performance of the oil pump.

4. Forklift gear bearing frame: when the end face is worn or the starting line is roughened, four bearing frames can be put on the surface grinder and the end face can be ground out at one time based on the non gear contact surface.

5. The wear of the inner hole is generally small. If the wear is serious, it can be grinded or the hole diameter can be grinded to the repair size and the needle roller can be selected.

6. When the shaft sleeve with side plate or axial floating is worn, scratched and grooved, the damaged surface can be polished. The method is to put no400-600 grinding paste on the smooth surface, add washing oil or wax, and gently rotate on the side plate surface for polishing.

7. Forklift gear pump body: the wear of the pump body generally occurs in the oil suction chamber. Some oil pumps can be repaired by transposition method from the structure, that is, the pump body rotates 180 ° around its own axis to turn the oil suction chamber into an oil pressure chamber to restore its working capacity.

8. The oil pump body that cannot be repaired by transposition method can be repaired by inlaying copper sleeve method.

9. When the gear is ground due to the wear of the end face, in order to maintain the axial clearance, the rear end face of the pump body needs to be ground to an appropriate thickness.
