Failure performance:
During the work of the excavator, the engine of the excavator suddenly stopped. Press the hand oil pump, and the fuel supply system is full of diesel, it can continue to start. However, if the operating time is less than 3min, it will suddenly stop.
Analysis and diagnosis of excavator engine sudden flame failure:
1 Practice has proved that the above failures are mostly caused by clogging or air leakage in the oil supply system.
2 During the maintenance, remove the fuel injection pump return screw, and press the oil pump with your right hand to press the oil. It feels that the amount of oil meets the regulations, but there are more impurities flowing out of the filter from the diesel.
3 Disassemble the diesel filter and check, it is found that the filter element has deteriorated, there is more oil sludge inside, and the diesel filter element has no function.
4 However, after replacing the new diesel filter and then testing the machine, the failure phenomenon is still the same.
5. Remove the oil return screw of the diesel filter, and press the oil pump. It is found that the oil pump output is normal and the oil pump has good sealing.
6. Remove the side cover of the fuel injection pump, unscrew the four high-pressure oil pipe fixing nuts, pry the plunger with a flat-blade screwdriver, and observe whether the oil is out of each cylinder. The result is normal.
7. Poor sealing in the combustion chamber, the diesel engine should be difficult to start. And this diesel engine is easy to start, so it should not be a problem of valve leakage, valve clearance or fuel advance angle.
8. To this end, disassemble the fuel pump and inspect the rollers and ejector rods of the fuel pump. The inspection found that the rollers entered the ejector rod sleeves, and the position of the two locking plates differed by 90 degrees. After starting, the oil pump cannot work.
9. Adjust the relative position of the two lock plates, make it meet the requirements, and then try the machine to eliminate the fault.
