Fault Analysis Of Excavator Control System

Jun 14, 2022

After the excavator has been used for a period of time, many excavator masters have reflected that the excavator always presents problems in the operation process, which will affect the operating power of the excavator. The excavator masters are very worried. Here, master Yang of meiruite excavator maintenance and repair factory teaches you some basic diagnosis methods when the excavator fails in the operation process:

1. the speed of all actuators is low. If the load is reduced and the speed is increased, the main overflow valve may be faulty. If only the speed is too low, there may be something wrong with the pump control system and the pilot system. The maintenance materials of modern excavators are mainly soil, coal, sediment, soil and rock after pre loosening. Judging from the development of construction machinery in recent years, excavators have developed relatively rapidly, and excavators have become one of the most important construction machinery in engineering construction. The three most important parameters of excavator: operating weight, engine power and bucket capacity.

If the N sensor is faulty, it does not show a small violation in speed, but an abnormal value, such as omin-1

2. when carrying out single travel, the left track is slow, but the right track is normal. Single reverse operation is slow. Single bucket operation is normal.

View tips:

For some reason, the delivery of oil from pump 2 is reduced to a minimum. Therefore, the speed of the left track and the reverse function is too slow, because they are driven by the pressure oil of pump 2.

The jib and boom cylinders are driven by the pressure oil of pump 1. Therefore, when the jib or boom works alone, the speed of the jib and boom decreases slightly. However, when the horizontal pushing work is carried out, the oil flow to the boom cylinder takes priority over the boom cylinder. Therefore, almost no oil is supplied to the jib cylinder, so the speed of the jib decreases.

3. when carrying out single travel, the right track is slow, but the left track is normal. A single bucket works slowly. The single reverse rotation works normally, and it is difficult to raise the forearm when the ground is flat.

For some reason, the oil delivery volume of pump l decreases to the minimum (about 20 L / min). Therefore, the functional speed of the right track and bucket is too slow, because they are driven by the pressure oil of pump 1.

The jib and boom cylinders are driven by the pressure oil of pump 2, so when the jib or boom performs a single work, the speed of the jib and boom decreases slightly. However, when the horizontal pushing work is performed, the oil flow to the jib cylinder takes priority over the boom cylinder. Therefore, almost no oil is supplied to the boom cylinder, making the boom unable to move.

4. even if the control lever returns to neutral, the actuator will not stop. The adhesion of the pilot valve stem or the main valve stem of the control valve may be the cause of the problem.
