One problem that excavator drivers often encounter during operation is that the excavator cannot be started. The failure to start can be divided into two fault phenomena: one is the long-term failure to start; First, it is temporarily unable to start. Today, I will talk with you about what to do when the machine fails to start? The excavator cannot be started for a long time, which may be due to the engine fault, such as valve leakage, too large piston ring clearance, etc. The excavator can not be started temporarily, which may be due to lack of power and oil. It can be checked as follows:

1. There is no sound from the starting motor. Explain that the battery is not powered on. It is recommended to check whether the battery pile head is in poor contact or burnt out? For some models, it is recommended that you first confirm that the main hydraulic switch is locked, because there are many models that cannot be started when the main hydraulic switch is not turned on. The very humanized design will make some people who are just beginning to contact unable to adapt for a while.

2. The starting motor works, but the speed is slow and the sound is weak. The battery power is insufficient. It is recommended to check whether the generator belt is normal. It is best to measure the power generation. If it is normal, you can only call the excavator owner and tell him two news, one is bad news and the other is good news. The bad news is that the boss needs to pay for a new battery. The good news is that the old battery can usually save some money.

3. The speed and sound of the starting motor are normal, but it cannot be started. It means that the oil hasn't arrived. It is recommended that you clean whether the diesel pipeline is blocked. Two points that are easy to be blocked are the small filter screen at the bottom of the diesel tank and the hand pump. It is also possible that when the filter element is changed, the air is injected, the exhaust screw is loosened, and the oil is pumped with a hand pump, so that the air can be removed.

4. It is easy to start a cold car, but difficult to start a hot car. This situation is common in old machines. It is generally believed that the poor quality of the diesel oil causes the wear of the diesel pump, so the oil pump needs to be calibrated. If you find that the excavator doesn't move after you start the engine through thousands of hardships, it only shows that you are a unlucky excavator driver. This symptom is like a lack of oil in the torque converter of a bulldozer. No matter how much you increase the throttle, the excavator just doesn't move. If you eliminate the hydraulic problems, in principle, there are two reasons for this phenomenon.

The first is that the connecting rubber block between the engine and the hydraulic pump is broken, which makes the rotation of the engine spindle unable to be transmitted to the hydraulic pump. However, I think the probability of this kind of event is extremely low. Second, your hydraulic master switch is invalid. There are usually two designs for the hydraulic master switch of excavators, one is the direct control of hydraulic components, and the other is the control of electronic components. At present, most electronic components are controlled, but they are more likely to fail.
