Before the hydraulic failure of Caterpillar excavator, abnormal signs often appear in advance. Therefore, daily maintenance is necessary to find and deal with small problems in time, and eliminate hidden troubles for the prevention of major accidents and the normal operation of the hydraulic system.

1. Regular and correct maintenance

Due to the poor working environment, excavators are easy to be polluted by the external environment. Therefore, mandatory maintenance is required every 250 hours to find early problems in time.

During use, due to the operator's familiarity with mechanical properties. In order to accurately describe the fault at the first time when the excavator is abnormal. Correct guidance and training must be given to drivers.

2. Inspection before work

Before starting the Caterpillar excavator every day, check whether the hydraulic system of the excavator has leakage, whether each oil pipe has interference and damage, whether the piston rod is damaged, and whether the breather valve of the hydraulic oil tank is blocked.

Check whether the oil level of the hydraulic oil is at the standard scale. If the hydraulic oil is insufficient, add Sany pure hydraulic oil of the same brand in time. At the same time, check whether the hydraulic oil in the hydraulic oil tank and the added hydraulic oil have peculiar smell and whether the color is normal, otherwise it can not be used.

Check the operation of the hydraulic oil radiator. Whether there is foreign matter blockage and damage to ensure the heat dissipation of the hydraulic system. Do not place other sundries in front of the radiator to prevent blocking or hitting the radiator.

3. Preheating of excavator

After starting the engine, warm up the engine for several minutes, and then preheat and exhaust the hydraulic system. Operate each working device back and forth to increase the temperature of hydraulic oil.

At the same time, observe whether the display of each instrument is normal, whether the operation is flexible and whether there is abnormal noise before working.

4. Maintenance in job

After the excavator officially enters the work, it shall pay attention to the display of the display screen at any time, and there shall be no abnormal noise, oil leakage, etc. In case of any abnormality, stop the machine immediately for inspection. The excavator shall not be forced to work until it is confirmed that there is no abnormality.

5. Inspection and maintenance after operation

Do not stop the excavator immediately after the work of the excavator is completed. The excavator shall be stopped on a safe and solid ground for heat dissipation, and the piston rod of each oil cylinder shall be fully extended, and then the piston rod of each oil cylinder shall be carefully inspected for damage. Fully retract the excavator bucket cylinder, insert the bucket tooth tip into the soil, and then stop the machine.

After shutdown, check the whole excavator for oil leakage, and then check whether the hydraulic oil level is normal. If the hydraulic oil becomes less, find the oil leakage point in time and deal with it.

6. Cleaning and maintenance of excavator hydraulic system

The matching accuracy of hydraulic system components of excavator is very high. If the hydraulic system is polluted, it will cause adverse conditions such as wear, corrosion and clamping of hydraulic components. It may even cause safety accidents. In order to make the hydraulic system achieve the required working performance and service life. The cleanliness of the hydraulic system must be ensured.

The hydraulic oil in the hydraulic system shall be replaced in time according to the working conditions. The replacement cycle shall be shortened in case of crushing or poor working conditions. If the hydraulic oil is used for a long time, the viscosity of the oil will be reduced and the lubricity will be lost. And may be acidic. During replacement, drain the oil in the system as clean as possible and clean the oil tank. After installing the filter element, add oil from the side of the oil return filter element. And exhaust the air of the main pump, and then exhaust the air of the hydraulic system after starting the machine.
