Install the reduction gear assembly
1. Install the excavator pinion assembly. Place the frame on a workbench, as shown in Figure 6-89. Lift the pinion assembly and slowly place it in the frame until it is in place. When operating this step, the excavator repair shop prompts: note that the outer race of the bearing is installed vertically along the inner race of the frame. If there is enough clearance between the bearing and the frame, the outer race of the bearing can be easily installed in the frame; if not, check whether the outer race of the bearing is accurately placed in place, or whether the frame is damaged, if Pressing forcefully may damage the parts.
2. Install the retainer 1) Apply grease to 1/3 of the groove-shaped surface of the edge that is in contact with the oil seal sleeve.
2) Install the oil seal and the retainer together, pay attention to its installation direction, and install it in place with the oil seal installation fixture.
3) Apply sealant (Loctite Adhesive 15) on the mating surface of the holder and the frame with the oil seal, and then install it with the sleeve.
Please be careful not to touch the pinion teeth during installation to prevent scratching the oil seal.
4) Tighten the bolts.
3. Turn the frame over and place the pinion shaft on a stable workbench with the splines facing upwards.
4. Install the wheel carrier assembly, and install the 2 wheel carrier assembly into the spline shaft of the pinion shaft
5. Install the central gear, install #2 central gear with the spline facing upwards.
6. Install the gear ring, apply a thin layer of sealant (Loctite glue #书15) on the mating surface of the frame and the gear ring and install it. When installing, pay attention to aligning the gear teeth and install it according to the given assembly mark.
7. Install #wheel carrier assembly 1) Engage #1 wheel carrier assembly with gear ring and place it in place.
2) Engage the #1 central gear with #pinion gear and install them in place.
8. Install the drain hose and plug
9. Add lubricating oil
Add 15.3L gear oil SAE90.
10. Install the rotating motor assembly. Install the eye bolt (M12×1.75) on the drill hole of the rotating motor, and insert the steel cable into it. Apply sealant (Loctite #515) to the mating surface of the gear ring, as shown in Figure 6-95, insert the spline joint of the rotating motor and mark the assembly. Apply screw locking agent on the bolts and tighten them.
