Many engineering construction units have some misunderstandings in the use and maintenance of engineering machinery. 1. Tighten the bolt


There are many fasteners for bolts and nuts on construction machinery. In order to make the connection reliable, we should ensure that they have sufficient pre tightening force. But it can not be mistaken that the tighter the bolt, the better the better, the blind increase the torque of the bolt, not only make the fastener too large external force to produce permanent deformation, screw will also cause the screw thread or screw broken phenomenon because of excessive tension. 2. Overinjection of oil


When the oil in the engine oil pan is insufficient, the crankshaft and the connecting rod journal and main bearing will cause poor lubrication due to the low oil consumption, and the phenomenon of tile burning will occur. However, excessive oil filling will increase the rotational resistance of crankshaft, increase the oil splashing to the cylinder wall, and increase the carbon deposition in the combustion chamber. As a result, the engine output power is reduced, parts wear is aggravated, and exhaust emission exceeds the standard. Therefore, the engine oil quantity should be controlled between the upper and lower scales of the oil gauge.


3. The tire pressure is too high


The tire inflation pressure of wheeled machinery is the main factor determining its service life and work quality. When the air pressure is too low, the deformation of the matrix increases, resulting in an increase in internal stress, accelerated rubber aging and cord fatigue, while rolling resistance increases and shoulder wear increases. But when the air pressure is too high, the tire cord will produce a lot of tension, the resistance to the impact is weakened, the rocky angle is easy to damage the tire, and the tire tread wear is aggravated and the tire is skidded and the operation efficiency of the engineering machinery is reduced.


4. The new battery is not charged


The first charge of the battery is called the first charge. The initial charge has a great influence on the service life of the battery. If the new battery is not charged and used directly, the battery capacity will be insufficient and the service life will be shortened. The correct way to use the new battery is to fill the electrolyte at the prescribed height and charge it for about 1 hours with a small current before loading.


5. The cooling fan belt is tighten


In summer, the temperature is too high. Some people mistakenly believe that increasing the tightness of the cooling fan belt will improve the cooling effect of the engine. But the tightness of the belt not only makes it elongate or break, thus shortens the service life of the belt, but also makes the load of the generator and pump too large, the wear of the pump is too large, the wear of the pump is aggravated, and the power consumption of the engine increases.  Therefore, the tightness of the cooling fan belt should be adjusted according to the technical requirements.


6. Replace the oil in the tank only when the hydraulic oil is replaced.


There are many hydraulic components on construction machinery, and sufficient hydraulic oil is needed. When the hydraulic oil needs to be replaced because of the long service life, it is wrongly thought that only the oil in the hydraulic oil can be fully lit and full of new hydraulic oil can be added. But at this time, there are still many old hydraulic oil in the hydraulic tubing and hydraulic control valve. When the equipment is used, the new and old oil mixture will accelerate the speed of new oil deterioration.


The correct oil transfer steps should first release the hydraulic oil in the hydraulic tank, clean the oil tank and add the new hydraulic oil, then remove the loop general pipe, start the engine and operate at low speed, so that the oil pump operator can operate each mechanism separately, and discharge the old oil in the loop by hydraulic oil until the oil back to the general pipe has the new oil flowing out Finally, connect the return manifold with the oil tank and replenish the new hydraulic oil into the tank to the specified location.
