Due to wear, poor working environment, improper maintenance and improper operation, the excavator will have various problems and malfunctions. At first these faults are small problems, so long as they are found and processed in time, what does not affect the excavators; but if they ignore these small faults and continue to use it, it will lead to major mechanical accidents. So, today, we have brought up 5 maintenance methods for the excavators.
[1] the causes of three common faults of Komatsu excavator burning oil are:
The 1. excavator air filter becomes dirty
The gas channeling of the 2. excavator engine
3 the oil of the excavator has not been replaced as usual or the non standard excavator oil has been used.
The troubleshooting method for the oil burning of the Komatsu excavator:
1 clean and replace the air cleaner of the excavator
2 overhaul excavator engine
3 use the oil of the excavator according to regulations and use the oil matching with the excavator.
[2] failure of hydraulic system of Komatsu excavator working device, walking or turning low or weak may be caused by the following reasons:
The 1.PC valve is not adjusted.
2.LS valve assembly is bad.
The 3.PC valve assembly is damaged.
4. hydraulic component failure in the output circuit of the pressure relief valve
5. plunger pump failure.
6. plunger pump servo piston failure.
The 7. main overflow valve is not adjusted correctly.
8. unloader valve movement is bad.
9. main overflow valve is damaged.
[solution] through failure analysis, the following solutions are obtained:
1. adjust or repair the PC valve
2. check and repair the LS valve
3. overhaul the PC valve
4. overhaul the hydraulic components of the output circuit of the pressure reducing valve or replace the hydraulic components of the output circuit of the pressure reducing valve.
5. overhaul plunger pump
6. servicing or replacing piston pump servo piston
7. re adjustment of main overflow valve
8. adjust or repair the unloading valve
9. overhauling main overflow valve
[3] the walking deviation of the Komatsu excavator
The first reason is that the possibility of deviation during normal walking is due to:
1. failure of the pressure relief valve.
2. main operation valve spool movement is bad.
3. the walking motor was malfunction.
The 4.LS valve was damaged.
The 5.PPC valve was damaged.
6. fault of walking pressure compensation valve.
Solution:
1. overhaul pressure relief valve
2. repair the valve core of the main operation valve

Cause two: the reason for the possibility of deviation when starting is:
The 1. walking pressure compensation valve has bad action.
2. the throttle hole in the servo mechanism is blocked.
Solution:
1. overhaul and walking pressure compensation valve
2. cleaning or dredging the throttle hole in the servo mechanism
[4] after the Komatsu excavator has been used for a period of time, many of the Komatsu excavators master the fault of "walking fatigue (or slow)".
Cause:
(I) a failure of the CO valve.
(2) CO cancels the solenoid valve failure.
(3) the main overflow valve sets the pressure drop.
(4) the 2 level overflow solenoid valve has trouble.
Solution:
1. overhaul the CO valve
2. repair CO canceling solenoid valve
3. check whether the pressure drop of the main overflow valve is reduced
4. overhauling 2 level overflow solenoid valve
[5] after a period of time, many Komatsu excavators have encountered the failure of the excavator in the process of using the excavator (only one side can not walk).
Cause:
1. the oil filling valve in the main operation valve is bad.
2. failure of the walking motor safety valve.
3. terminal drive is bad.
4. the walking motor was damaged.
Solution:
1. repair and repair oil valve

3. repair and adjust the transmission of terminal
