1. Exhaust from hydraulic pump

1. Loosen the air drain plug as shown in Figure 2-82 and check whether oil is leaking from the air drain plug.

(2) Tighten the air drain plug after oil leaks out. The torque of the air drain plug is 7.8~9.8N.m.

NOTE: Do not tighten the air drain plug with a socket wrench

2. Start Komatsu Excavator Engine

When running the engine after step 1, keep the engine idling at low speed for 10 minutes. If the engine coolant temperature is low and the automatic preheating operation starts, stop the engine temporarily and reset the automatic preheating operation with the fuel control knob (the automatic preheating operation will be reset with the start switch in ON position and the fuel control knob in MAX position for 3s).

3. Exhaust from cylinder

If the cylinder is replaced, exhaust from the cylinder before connecting the work unit. In particular, if the boom cylinder is mounted on the unit, it will not move to the end of the descent stroke.

1. Engine running at low idle speed for about 5 min

(2) When running the engine at low idle speed, raise and lower the boom 4-5 times. Stop the piston rod about 100mm before the end of each stroke to prevent hydraulic oil from overflowing.

_When running the engine at high idle speed, proceed to Step 2.

(4) When running the engine at low idle speed, move the piston rod to the end of the stroke so that hydraulic oil overflows Follow steps 2~4 to exhaust from the bucket rod cylinder and shovel half cylinder.

4. Exhaust from Rotary Motor

(1) Engine running at low idle speed

2. Turn slowly to exhaust the gas.

5. Exhaust from the traveling motor

(1) Engine running at low idle speed

2. Loosen the air drain plug shown in Figure 2-83 and check whether oil leaks from the air drain plug.
