1 Remove the oil drain switch at the bottom of the fuel tank, then rinse it repeatedly with clean oil, then flush the inside of the fuel tank with a larger air pump, and use clean oil to repeat it several times to return you a cleaner fuel tank.
2 The bottom of the fuel tank is opened. Take the oil shabu. In and out of the surface.
3 Most excavators have a flange at the bottom of the fuel tank. Remove the flange after putting the diesel oil out.Be careful not to damage the seal ring, you can reach into the fuel tank with your hands, remove the oil sludge and sediment, wipe dry clean, in Reverse installation is just fine, pay attention to check for leakage when refueling.
What should I do if the Kobelco excavator suddenly fails to start?
1 Check if there is air intake in the oil circuit.
2 If the engine is suddenly turned off and not started, the starter cannot be pulled, then most of them are burnt.
3 If the engine oil or diesel does not meet the driving standard, it will suddenly stop. Of course, the first two are enough, and the biggest possibility is that there is something wrong with the starting circuit.
E-16 The engine is difficult to start at low temperatures (in cold weather or cold areas, the engine is difficult to start or does not start even after warming up)
①Relevant MC fault code: None
② As shown in Figure 6-223, check the glow plug voltage and resistance measurement. Check whether the current is delivered to the glow plug. Check if the glow plug is abnormal.
③ Only when the coolant temperature is lower than 10 ℃, the preheating system works. When the coolant temperature is higher than 10 ℃, the preheating system does not work.
Troubleshooting:
1 Disconnect the connector of the coolant temperature sensor. Check if the glow plug voltage is 20-24V.
2 If it is between this range, then the sensor is faulty.
3 If not, disconnect the connector in the ECM. Connect the # 4 terminal of the connector to the machine. Check whether the fault is resolved. If it is resolved, it is ECM failure.
4 If it is not resolved, measure the resistance of the standby glow plug and disconnect the connector in the glow plug relay. Check whether the voltage at terminals # 1 and # 3 of the connector wire end in the glow plug relay is 20-24V.
5 If not, if the voltage of terminal # 1 is ov, the wire harness between the glow plug relay and the battery is disconnected. If the voltage at terminal # 3 is ov, the harness between the glow plug relay and the M terminal in the key switch is disconnected.
6 If it is in between, the connection in the glow plug relay will be connected. Connect the # 4 terminal connected to the harness end to the machine. Check if the glow plug voltage is 20 -24V.
7 If not, the glow plug is malfunctioning. The glow plug relay is faulty, or the cable between the glow plug relay and the glow plug is faulty. If it is, the harness between the glow plug relay and the ECM is broken.
