Classification And Application Scope Of Drilling Rig

Jun 05, 2020

Drilling rigs are mechanical equipment for drilling holes in the ground, and can be large outdoor water wells, oil wells, and natural gas well drilling equipment. It has a wide range of applications and a wide range of applications. In which areas? What types are there? This article briefly introduces the types and application scope of drilling rigs.

Because the purpose of geotechnical drilling engineering and construction objects are different, there are many types of drilling rigs.

Drilling rigs can be classified according to usage, such as core drilling rigs, petroleum drilling rigs, hydrogeological survey and water well drilling rigs, engineering geological survey drilling rigs, tunnel drilling rigs, and engineering construction drilling rigs.

1. According to the drilling method, Hengte production rigs can be divided into the following categories:

1. Impact drilling rig: It is divided into two types of wire rope impact type and drill pipe impact type.

2. Rotary drilling rigs are divided into the following three types: Vertical shaft type-handle feed type, screw differential feed type, hydraulic feed type drilling rig;

3. Turntable type-steel rope plus decompression type, hydraulic cylinder plus decompression type drilling rig;

4. Mobile gyrator type-full hydraulic power head type, mechanical power head type drilling rig, vibration drilling rig.

5. Hengte composite drilling rig: a drilling rig with functions of vibration, impact, rotation, static pressure, etc. combined in different combinations.

2. Application range of drilling rig

1. In the prospecting survey of deposits, especially in the prospecting survey of deposits of non-ferrous metals and rare metals, tunnel drilling is used to chase deposits, intensify exploration and survey geological structures to delineate ore bodies, sampling and verification, etc.

2. In mine excavation, tunnel drilling technology is commonly used to drill underground observation holes, ventilation holes, drainage holes, gas discharge holes, grouting holes, blast holes, anchor holes, and pilot holes for excavation tunnels.

3. In other fields of geotechnical engineering construction, the equipment and process technology of tunnel drilling can be used for the reinforcement of dam foundation slopes, the treatment of geological disasters, the support of deep foundation pits, and the construction of underground projects in industrial, commercial, transportation, and military fields.

4. Used for rock and soil foundation construction such as building foundation, workshop foundation, high-speed railway foundation and highway foundation.
