How To Repair The Wheel, Hub And Tire Of The Forklift?

How to repair the wheel disk, wheel hub and tire of the forklift:   

1. Forklift wheel disk repair:

1) If the bearing hole of the bolt is worn, the roundness error is greater than 1.5mm or the bearing surface of the tire bolt is uneven, it can be repaired by surfacing welding.

2) Cracks between bolt bearing holes or large holes can be repaired by welding.

3) If the joint between the spoke and the rim is de-welded or the rivet is loose, it should be re-welded or re-riveted.

4) If there is a crack on the rim, it can be repaired by welding.

2. Fork wheel hub repair:

1) When the wear of the inner and outer bearing seat holes of the hub is greater than 0.05mm, it should be repaired by chrome plating.

2) Oil seal seat holes are unevenly worn or have dents over 0.15mm, which can be repaired by welding.

3) The circumferential surface in contact with the brake hub should be flat. If the circle runout of the center line of the hub is greater than 0.1mm, it should be repaired by turning.

4) When there is a crack in the brake hub of the wheel hub, the groove can be welded and flattened.

5) When the internal thread of the bolt hole of the fixed half shaft is damaged, it can be re-drilled and tapped after surfacing.

6) When the runout of the end face contacting with the half shaft flange is not more than 0.1mm, it should be revised.

3. Damage and repair of forklift tires:

Forklift tires include pneumatic tires and solid tires. The inflation pressure of the tires must be in accordance with the original manufacturer's standards, not too high or too low. If the height is too high, the elasticity of the tire will decrease, and the thread layer will easily break. If the air pressure is too low, it will cause severe deformation of the tire, increase the temperature, cause degumming or fracture, and may cause the tire to move on the rim and wear the bead. In serious cases, the inner valve will be torn.

(1) Outer tube When the outer tube is damaged by cracks, holes, blisters, delamination, etc., it should be repaired or renovated according to the specific conditions. There are continuous cracks around the carcass of the outer tire, the tread rubber has been polished and there are large holes, the carcass line layer has a circular crack and the whole circle is separated, it should be replaced.

(2) When the inner tube is found to have small holes, hot or cold repair can be performed.

1) Hot repair: Roughly file around the damaged part of the inner tube, paste the fire repair glue on the damaged place, and make the hole of the hole just in the center of the repair glue, and then install the tire repair clip to the normal fire repair glue and tighten Press the screw tightly and then ignite the heating agent on the fire glue. After 10-15min, it can be tightly bonded.

2) Raw glue repair (cold repair): Roughly file around the broken part of the inner tube, apply raw glue, and then apply the second glue after the glue surface is slightly dry. When the glue is air-dried, attach the prepared raw glue to the broken On the mouth, pressurize and heat 140-145°C, keep it warm for 10-20min to vulcanize the raw rubber, and after cooling, it can be tightly bonded.

3) The inner tube is folded, severely broken and cannot be repaired; it is aging and sticky and deteriorates; deformation and cracks can be discarded and replaced.
