1 To avoid the failure of the excavator engine scrapping, it is necessary to use the correct method to start the engine according to the prescribed requirements, and do regular inspection and maintenance of the engine regularly.
2 Ten precautions for excavator engine starting are as follows:
a. It is forbidden to start without coolant or by adding boiling water. After the engine is started, adding coolant will cause the hot cylinder liner, cylinder head and other important parts to burst or deform due to sudden cold; Boiling water will also rupture the cylinder head and the body, and it should be added when the coolant temperature drops to 60~70℃
b. It is forbidden to stop the engine suddenly at full load.
C. Prohibition of pulling and starting. The engine pulls and starts when the engine oil viscosity is cold, which will aggravate the wear between the moving parts and reduce the service life of the locomotive.
D. It is forbidden to change the oil and fuel oil on schedule. In winter, if the oil and fuel oil with low viscosity are not replaced in time, the engine will be difficult to start.
e. It is forbidden to bake the oil pan with open flame and start the ignition at the intake pipe. To prevent fire, use a slow fire and coal fire to bake the oil pan of the engine at a certain distance, while slowly turning the crankshaft, so that the oil is heated evenly In order to make all parts lubricated. If the ignition is started at the intake pipe of the engine, the ash and hard debris generated by the combustion of substances will be sucked into the cylinder, causing the intake and exhaust valves to be closed tightly and speeding up the wear of the cylinder.
f. It is forbidden to use glow plugs and flame preheaters for a long time. The heating elements of glow plugs and flame preheaters are electric heating wires, and their power consumption and heat generation are very large. Long-term use can damage the battery due to rapid discharge At the same time, the heating wire can also be burned. Therefore, the continuous use of the glow plug can not exceed 1min, and the continuous use of the flame preheater should be controlled within 20s.
g. It is forbidden to directly add engine oil to the cylinder. Although adding engine oil to the cylinder can play the role of sealing supercharging and warming up, which is convenient for diesel engine to start cold, but the engine oil cannot be completely burned, which is easy to produce carbon deposits and weaken the elasticity of the piston ring. The sealing performance of the cylinder decreases; in addition, it will accelerate the wear of the cylinder liner, resulting in a decrease in the power of the engine, making starting more difficult, so it is not possible to directly add oil to the cylinder.
h. It is forbidden to directly inject gasoline into the intake pipe. The ignition point of gasoline is lower than that of diesel, and it burns before diesel. Therefore, directly injecting gasoline into the intake pipe will cause the engine to violently produce a strong knocking phenomenon. Reverse.
I. Prolonged continuous starting is prohibited. The starter on the engine is under low voltage and high current. Long-term use will damage the battery. Its continuous time should not exceed 10s; one start does not work, it should be restarted every 15s.
J. It is forbidden to start high-speed operation immediately after starting. The temperature of the engine oil is low and the fluidity is low immediately after the engine starts. It is easy to cause rapid wear of various moving parts due to lack of lubrication. In severe cases, burnt tiles and shafts may also occur.
