1. Engine speed If the engine speed is not adjusted correctly and differs greatly from the standard value, the detection of various other performances of the excavator is unreliable. Therefore, the engine should be measured in each method before other tests. Under the speed, check whether the engine speed meets the technical specifications.
2. Preparation before testing a. Connect the Dr. Ex diagnostic analyzer (if not available, the engine tachometer) to the diagnostic connector located next to the fuse box behind the driver’s seat (when using the engine tachometer, you can connect The speed reading device 2 is installed on the injection tube 3 (Note: Never adjust the limit stop 1 again). In addition, the speed can also be measured with a photoelectric speedometer.
Diagnostic analyzer connection method
(1) Adjust the limit stop; speed reading device; 3 injection tube b. Warm the machine until the engine coolant temperature reaches 50 degrees or above, and the hydraulic oil temperature is (50 ± 5) degrees.
3. No-load engine speed a. Measure the engine start speed (start slow speed), low speed slow speed, fast slow speed (in normal mode) and fast slow speed (in E mode and HP mode).
b. Select the switch position C. Start measurement from the start of slow speed.
D. Measure when the engine control dial, E-mode switch and HP-mode switch are switched.
③ No-load automatic slow speed a. Select the switch position.
b. Starting method Click and operate the bucket joystick.
C. Return the bucket joystick to the neutral position, wait for about 4s until the engine speed automatically decreases, and then measure the engine speed that has been reduced.
