In civil engineering, hydraulic excavators are widely used in excavation of water supply and sewerage, building foundation and bridge magnetic foundation. In the case of deep excavation, the driver cannot normally see the bucket directly, so it should be controlled according to the operator's contact signal. Therefore, there is a strong demand to improve work efficiency and work safety. The following only introduces the remote control device for the driver to carry out deep excavation.
Features of remote control device
(1) During high-safety remote control operation, it can ensure the safety of the driver and surrounding workers. There will be no accidents in case of wrong operation or in case of system abnormality.
(2) The working condition of the hydraulic excavator with high reliability is bad, and the instruments and devices matched with the remote control device of the main machine can meet the environmental conditions.
(3) The operation rate of remote control is high. The remote control device using radio will not be used due to the interference of the radio waves on the spot, and it is often unavailable when the battery is insufficiently charged. In this case, the device can still operate remotely.
(4) Does not hinder the manual control operation When the remote control device (remote control) is installed, the manual control operation can be performed in the cab, and it can be easily converted into the remote control operation.
(5) After a simple modification, it can be matched with the previous remote control device on the hydraulic excavator. To be matched on the hydraulic excavator, it needs to be improved by many projects; therefore, it is not easy to match. This device is a compact system that can be matched by simple modification. The following is a detailed introduction to the system configuration and function.
System configuration and function
Remote control device system structure is shown in Figure 1, which consists of an operator (transmitter), controller (receiver, relay circuit, solenoid valve actuator (solenoid valve driver)), valve device, and alarm
Device and rotating alarm lights, etc. Figure 2 shows the installation position of each instrument. Table 1 lists the main technical parameters.
Operation levers and switches are provided on the operator, which can be operated except the engine start. These signals are converted into digital signals (8-bit data) for data transmission. The controller performs the verification and control calculation of the transportation data, and drives the solenoid valve actuator and the relay circuit. Boom, extension arm, bucket, slewing and walking mechanism are all driven by solenoid valve actuator. The valve device is controlled by the main control valve. In addition, the relay circuit is used to control the engine stop, rotating alarm lights, and alarms.
The remote control device is characterized by wireless (weak radio wave remote control operation and wired object selection method. Generally, wireless communication is performed, but when the operator and the controller are connected by a cable,
Automatic serial communication using a microcomputer, and the controller supplies power. Therefore, when in a place with poor radio wave environment or forget to charge the battery, it can be completed by wired remote control operation. The following describes each instrument.
