For wheel loader, the tire problem will directly lead to the inability to continue to work efficiently, or even only after the replacement. Share a quick 9-step method of changing wheel loader tires on site:
1. Start the machine, look for a relatively flat and open area nearby, press the boom lift lever, use the boom bracket to lift the front wheel off the ground, and then use the bracket to support it on the side flash bridge near the flat tire, Wedge the rear wheels tightly (in order to avoid personal injury, you must work closely with the driver).
2. Use a crowbar and other tools to remove the buckle and lock ring, and then check whether the tire pad adheres to the outer surface of the rim (the tire has a long service life, the pad can adhere to the outer surface of the rim). If a detachable support appears, the machine will run back and forth slowly over a short distance until the gasket separates from the outer surface of the rim. Steering and high-speed driving are strictly prohibited to avoid damage to the inner tube. Then, the front wheel was supported again.
3. Mark the relative position of the inner and outer tires in order to find and remove foreign objects and repair the tires.
4. Use a crowbar and other tools to remove the tire from the rim. Note that the movement should be gentle, coordinated, and tacit, to avoid being injured by the tire, and protect the valve.
5. After the outer tire is damaged by long foreign objects such as nails, if there is no obvious wound on the surface or the wound is small, the tire can continue to be used (because the loader tire is a low-pressure tire, the driving speed is relatively slow); if the wound is large, it must be repaired Because when the machine is running, the tire will be squeezed and rubbed, and the inner tube will be damaged over time, even if the wound is getting larger and the inner tube protrudes, causing the tire to be scrapped).
6. For the new inner tube, the bolt at the bottom of the valve must be tightened to prevent air leakage. Then remove the foreign material in the inner cavity of the tire casing, sprinkle an appropriate amount of talcum powder and apply evenly. In order to closely attach the inner liner to the inner and outer tires, the inner tire should be properly inflated after loading, and then inserted into the inner liner.
7. Install the tire on the rim, and install the lock ring and retaining ring. The valve should be protected during installation.
8. Inflate the tires with the on-board air compressor.
9 Press the boom lift lever and remove the bracket; at this time, the tire replacement is completed and the whole process takes about 50 minutes. When replacing the rear tire, another loader or other lifting equipment is needed to support the rear tire. The other procedures are the same as the procedures for replacing the front tires.
