Maintenance cycle
1. Check the coolant level every day
2. Every 2000 working hours or every year, replace the coolant and clean the cooling system. During this period, if the coolant is contaminated, the engine is overheated or bubbles appear in the radiator, the cooling system should be cleaned.
Operation steps of cleaning cooling system
Park the vehicle on level ground, turn off the engine and pull up the parking brake;
Wait until the coolant temperature drops below 50 ° C, then slowly unscrew the water radiator cover and release the pressure
Open the two warm air inlet valves
Open the water radiator drain valve, drain the engine coolant, and connect it with the container;
After the engine coolant is drained off, close the water radiator drain valve;
To the engine cooling system, add a cleaning solution prepared by mixing water and sodium carbonate. The mixing ratio is 0.5 kg sodium carbonate per 23 liters of water. The liquid level should reach the level normally used by the engine and remain stable within ten minutes.
Close the radiator water inlet cover, start the engine, gradually load after idling for 2 minutes, turn on the air conditioning heater, and continue to work for 10 minutes.
Turn off the engine. When the coolant temperature is below 50 ° C, unscrew the water radiator cap, open the drain valve at the bottom of the water radiator, and drain the water in the system.
Close the drain valve, add clean water to the engine cooling system to the normal use level, and keep it within ten minutes. Close the radiator water inlet cover, start the engine, gradually load after idling for 2 minutes, turn on the air conditioning heater, and continue to work for 10 minutes.
Turn off the engine and drain the water in the cooling system. If the discharged water is still dirty, the system must be cleaned again until the discharged water becomes clean.
Coolant addition
Close all drain valves, add coolant, and add appropriate amount of DCA4 additive (function: to prevent cylinder liner corrosion), observe the water level at the upper limit of the auxiliary tank liquid level window;
Close the radiator water inlet cover, start the engine, load it gradually after idling for 2 minutes, turn on the air conditioning heater, and when the coolant reaches the thermostat opening temperature, continue to work for 10 minutes to fully exhaust.
Turn off the engine, and check the coolant level after the coolant level is calm. If it is lower than the center line of the auxiliary water tank observation window, replenish the coolant to a qualified position.
