Working in cold winters when the temperature is particularly low, the viscosity of various oils increases, Kobelco excavator engine start will become difficult, and if the coolant freezes, it will damage the engine and water tank.
(1) Change to diesel, engine oil and hydraulic oil with low viscosity
(2) When using the machine in cold winter, the proportion of antifreeze added to the cooling system should be the proportion at the lowest temperature. It is forbidden to use methanol, ethanol or propanol-based antifreeze. Whether it is used alone or mixed with antifreeze, be sure to avoid the use of anti-leakage agents. Can not mix one kind of antifreeze with another different brand of antifreeze. For permanent antifreeze, it does not need to be replaced within one year. If there is no permanent antifreeze, only glycol antifreeze without anti-corrosion agent is allowed in winter. In this case, the cooling system should be cleaned twice a year (in spring or autumn), and antifreeze should be added only in autumn, and no antifreeze should be added in spring.
(3) After the temperature drops, the charging capacity of the Bodhisattva battery will be reduced and it may freeze. The battery should be covered or removed from the machine, placed in a warm place, and reinstalled before the next day of work. If you find that the battery electrolyte level is too low, you should add distilled water before work in the morning, do not add it after the completion of the day, to prevent freezing at night
(4) In order to prevent the machine from freezing due to mud and water, the machine cannot be started the next morning. The mud and water on the machine body must be completely removed to prevent mud or dirt from dripping into the sealing ring and damaging the sealing device.
(5) Retract the piston rod of the hydraulic cylinder into the cylinder barrel to prevent soil and water from sticking to the piston rod and damaging the sealing ring of the hydraulic cylinder
(6) Park the machine on hard, dry ground. If there is no condition, you can park the machine on the wooden board and drive away the next day.
(7) Open the water drain valve to release the water accumulated in the fuel system to prevent freezing
(8) After the machine is working in muddy water, the muddy water on the car must be removed according to the following methods: (a) Run the engine at low speed, rotate the upper device 90°, and turn the working device to the side of the track. (b) Slowly press the working device to the ground, make the crawler slightly float, let the crawler run idly, and remove the muddy water on it. The other track also removes muddy water in this way.
(9) Since electrical equipment is particularly sensitive to water vapor, avoid contact with water vapor when washing the car or encountering rain or snow. Since electrical components such as the controller monitor are installed in the cab, snow water must not invade the cab.
