As shown in Figure 1523, the Kobelco excavator engine parking device circuit is composed of a start switch, an engine parking motor, and an engine parking relay, and its actions are divided into engine operation and engine parking.

   1. Operation of engine operation


When the start switch is placed in the ON position, the current flows through the battery→fuse→B terminal of the start switch→ACC terminal of the start switch→terminal 86 of the engine stop relay→battery, and connect the terminals 30 and 87 of the engine stop relay The current flows through the battery → fuse → terminal B of the engine stop motor → terminal P2 of the engine stop motor → terminal 87 of the engine relay → terminal 30 of the engine stop relay → terminal A of the engine stop motor → engine stop motor E terminal→Battery 1, turn the engine stop motor, then the fuel supply switch of the engine fuel injection pump is turned on, so that the engine is in a running state. The engine stop motor is provided with a cam switch. When it rotates 180°, the current of the engine stop motor is cut off and maintains its state.


When the start switch is in the running position (ON), the state of the CAM switch inside the engine stop motor is shown in Figure 1524.


   2. Action when the engine is stopped


  When the start switch is set to the OFF position, the current through the engine stop relay coil is cut off. Subsequently, the 30th terminal and 87a terminal of the engine parking relay are connected, and the current passes through the battery→fuse→B terminal of the engine parking motor→Pl terminal of the engine parking motor→87a terminal of the engine parking relay→No. 30 of the engine parking relay Terminal→E terminal of the engine stop motor→battery to run the engine stop motor. The fuel supply of the engine fuel injection pump is turned on

  Off is off, the engine stops. When the engine stop motor rotates 180° in the running state, the internal CAM switch current is cut off and the engine stops.
