1.1 Working principle

Daewoo excavator crawler walking device consists of "four wheels and one belt" (that is, driving wheel 2, guide wheel 7, support wheel 3, supporting wheel 6, and crawler 1), tensioning device 4 and buffer spring 5 walking mechanism 11, walking The frame (including the underframe 10, the crossbeam 9 and the crawler frame 8) and other components, as shown in Figure 4-1, when the excavator is operating, the driving wheel generates a pulling force on the drive section and the grounding section (support section) on the tight side of the crawler track. Attempt to pull the track down from the track roller.Because the track under the track roller has sufficient adhesion between the track and the ground to prevent the track from being pulled out, the drive wheel is forced to roll the track, and the guide wheel lays the track on the ground. Make the excavator run forward along the track by means of rollers.


Hydraulically driven crawler walking device, when the excavator turns, it is installed on two crawlers and is powered by two hydraulic pumps (a special control valve is required to control the oil when using an oil pump). The control of the road is very convenient to turn or turn on the spot to adapt to the movement of the excavator on various grounds and fields. Figure 42 shows the turning situation of the hydraulic excavator. Figure (a) shows the direction of rotation of the two walking motors. On the contrary, the excavator turns on the spot. Figure (b) shows that the hydraulic pump supplies oil to only one travel motor, and the excavator turns around one side of the track.
