We are no stranger to loader differentials, which are generally composed of two side gears, two side gear washers, four bevel gears and a cross shaft. But if the differential is broken, we want to replace it with a new one. How can it be removed?
1. Remove the oil hole screw first, then remove the connecting flange, oil seal seat, and bevel gear bearing seat of the driving hypoid gear, and then remove the driving hypoid gear.
2. Use an Allen wrench to remove the small gland and bearing snap ring on the pulley seat. Then remove the left end cover of the differential, use a crowbar to take out the first-stage planet carrier, then remove the first-stage differential case, and take out the third-stage planet carrier and the second-stage planet carrier.
3. Remove the driven hypoid gear bearing cover, remove the driven hypoid gear assembly, unscrew the screws of the differential housing, and disassemble the differential.
4. Clean and inspect. After disassembly, the differential housing and planetary gears must be carefully cleaned to ensure normal meshing between the gears.
5. Knocking and knocking are not allowed during the disassembly and maintenance of the differential.
