Analysis Of Common Causes Of Low Oil Pressure Of Caterpillar Cat340 Excavator Puller!

Apr 16, 2020

The low oil pressure of the excavator may generally cause the puller phenomenon of the Caterpillar cat340 excavator, and the puller is generally caused by the low oil pressure of the Caterpillar cat340 excavator, but it is not all. The specific problems need specific analysis.

  Cause Analysis:

1. Excavator pressure limiting valve spring is too soft or broken.

2. Carter excavator crankcase oil viscosity is low or insufficient.

3. The oil pump of the excavator is not working well, and the oil circuit of the oil is seriously leaking.

4. Carter excavator oil filter bypass valve spring is too soft and broken.

5. The lubricating oil inlet pipe joint of the excavator is loose or the oil pipe is broken.

6. The cylinder liner of the excavator is damaged, and the cooling water leaks into the crankcase, which deteriorates the lubricating oil and reduces the viscosity.

7. Carter excavator fuel pump diaphragm ruptures, fuel leaks into the crankcase to dilute engine oil.

8. The oil collecting filter of the excavator is blocked.

9, Carter excavator crankshaft main bearing, connecting rod bearing and cam bearing clearance gap is too large and leaks.

10. The oil filter of the excavator is blocked, so that the opening pressure of the bypass valve is too high or stuck, and the oil cannot enter the main oil passage.

  malfunction repair:

First pull out the oil scale and check the oil level in the crankcase. If the oil is not deficient, check the oil gauge and sensor; if the oil is seriously insufficient, you can hear the abnormal noise of the crankshaft bearing and connecting rod bearing, and you should replenish the oil in time. Sensor. Turn on the ignition switch, remove its wire, make the end contact with the cylinder, check the oil gauge pointer, if it can rise "to the end" quickly, it means the oil gauge is good, the fault is in the sensor; if the needle does not move or rises If the oil pressure is lower than 30kPa, the alarm indicator does not flash, indicating that the low-voltage switch contacts are ablated or poor contact. If it is lower than 180kPa , The alarm indicator does not flash, indicating that the high-pressure switch contact cannot be disconnected. When the engine is running, the oil pressure suddenly drops, and the engine should be stopped and stopped in time to check for inorganic oil leakage, such as damaged oil filter liner, broken oil pipe, etc. The lower sensor (or pressure switch) is actuated briefly. If the oil spray is weak, the oil filter, filter and oil pump should be checked.
