Hitachi ZX300-5A Excavator Lifts The Arm And Slowly Rotates Slowly To Repair The Failure Analysis!

Apr 16, 2020

Various problems will occur when the excavator is used for a long time. Slow motion is one of the more common faults. There are many types of slow motion here. Excavator repair examples tell that the Hitachi excavator raises the arm slowly. Analysis and maintenance of faults with slow rotation.

The boss Lu ’s excavator is a Hitachi ZX300-5A excavator. It has been digging soil in the mountain area. It has been more than 6900 hours now. The excavator's boom speed is very slow, and the operation is also very slow. Except for the boom and slow rotation, there is no other fault phenomenon.

The slow boom and slow rotation of the excavator may be caused by the fault light of the main safety valve, hydraulic pump, oil filter, hydraulic oil, and distribution valve.

Hitachi ZX300-5A excavator lifts the boom and slowly rotates slowly

1. The excavator operates the boom at the construction site, the speed is very slow; the operation rotation is also very slow. Check the oil capacity of the excavator oil tank, the oil is sufficient; check the cleanliness of the hydraulic oil, not dirty.

2. The excavator will act for about 30 minutes, and observe that there is no phenomenon of excessively high hydraulic oil temperature. Dismantle the boom, check the boom spool valve and rotary spool valve, and there is no damage.

3. Check the boom cylinder and rotary cylinder, there is no internal leakage. Measure the system pressure: Install a pressure gauge of 40MPA range on the hydraulic point, observe the engine at the specified speed, when the boom is raised, what is the displayed pressure value? The pressure is 25mpa, which is lower than the specified pressure.

4. Hitachi ZX300-5A excavator raises the arm slowly and rotates slowly. The reason is that the system pressure is too low, adjust the pressure, then raise the arm and operate the rotation, the speed is normal.
