Temperature Rise In Hydraulic System Of Excavator

May 29, 2020

(1) System temperature rise caused by unreasonable hydraulic system design of excavator

The hydraulic system has a large amount of pressure loss during work and the oil temperature is too high. For example, the selection of hydraulic components is unreasonable; there are redundant components and circuits in the system; the throttling mode is improper; the system has no effective discharge during non-working The load measure causes a large amount of pressure oil to be lost and heats up the oil. Therefore, we should improve and perfect the above unreasonable design.

(2) Pressure loss ambassador Convert pressure energy into heat energy

It is caused by the unreasonable design and installation of the pipeline, resulting in increased pressure loss and untimely maintenance and cleaning of the pipeline. Improvements should be made during commissioning and maintenance.

(3) Oil heating due to large volume loss

It should prevent leakage inside and outside and reduce volume loss at hydraulic pumps, connections, and clearances.

(4) Heating of oil caused by large mechanical loss

Mechanical loss is often caused by poor machining accuracy and assembly quality of hydraulic components, poor installation accuracy, and improper installation of seals. In particular, the tightness adjustment of the seals should be reasonable, so that the sealing performance of the sealing device is good, mainly from improving the sealing structure, and adjusting according to the prescribed compression amount to reduce friction resistance.

(5) Caused by excessive pressure adjustment

Under bad working conditions, it is necessary to increase the system pressure to ensure normal operation, which will increase energy loss and make the oil heat.

(6) Small tank size and poor heat dissipation conditions

The heat dissipation conditions should be improved, and the capacity of the fuel tank should be appropriately increased to effectively exert the heat dissipation effect of the tank wall. If necessary, forced cooling measures should be taken.
