Daily Maintenance Of Wheel Loader in Summer

Sep 11, 2025

1. Cooling system. Before entering summer, it is necessary to thoroughly clean, tighten, and lubricate all components of the cooling system of the wheel loader, clean the scale of the cooling system as much as possible, improve the heat dissipation efficiency, keep the cooling system unobstructed, and accelerate the circulation of chilled water.

2. Air intake system. Before entering summer, it is necessary to purposefully conduct a one-time performance test on various components of the intake system to ensure accurate labeling of the oil pressure gauge and transmission pressure gauge. The system checks the oil in the transmission, gearbox, and driver, from oil quality to total oil quantity, and keeps the oil clean.

3. Belt replacement. Check the drive belt of the water pump fan. After long-term use, the belt may become tired and deformed, reducing the cooling effect. When replacing the belt, pay attention to the model and length, and adjust its tightness correctly.

4. Water tank connection hose. Check the water tank connection hose. The water tank hose has poor oil resistance and is prone to damage in the early stages, which affects the water flow and leads to an increase in engine temperature. Check the wheel loader for cracks and water seepage, and make sure to remove them. At the same time, to maintain sufficient cooling water, defects must be added.

5. Braking system. Regularly checking the braking efficiency of the entire machine facilitates early detection and removal of any faults in the braking system, reducing the risk of accidents. Long term use of the brake may cause the temperature of the brake wheel hub and brake pads to be too high, resulting in a decrease in braking performance. Immediate parking and cooling should be carried out to avoid potential safety hazards to the overall operation of the vehicle. But it is absolutely not allowed to use cold water to pour the brake to forcibly reduce temperature.

6. Cabin air conditioning unit and driver. Long term driving of wheel loaders in summer can easily lead to fatigue. When drivers feel tired, they should park and rest appropriately in a timely manner, and should not drive beyond the limit of fatigue. To ensure adequate sleep and good energy and vitality, work efficiency is very high. The air conditioning unit in the cabin should also undergo a comprehensive inspection to effectively reduce the temperature for the driver.
