How To Use Breaker Hammer?

The breaker is generally used in demolition, mining and other occasions. During construction, dust easily enters the breaker hammer body along the steel drill, which will cause pollution and aging of hydraulic oil. Because the breaker is a fast reciprocating impact motion, the speed of oil return is fast and the relative pulse is large, which will also cause the hydraulic oil to age faster. When the hydraulic oil ages or is contaminated, it will most likely cause the hydraulic pump to malfunction.


In addition, if the hammer studio's throttle is too high, runaway, or too little hydraulic oil, it will affect the hydraulic system, light will cause the hydraulic oil to hot oil and gas, and heavy will damage the hydraulic pump.


In order to reduce the damage to the hydraulic system, several items should be paid attention to during the use of the breaker:


1. Add oil return filter: add oil return filter to the pipeline of the breaker, and filter the hydraulic oil of the return hydraulic pump. Also, pay attention to replacing the oil return filter element and hydraulic oil at regular intervals.


2. Use high-quality breakers (with accumulators): Inferior breakers are prone to problems due to design, manufacturing, inspection and other links. The high failure rate during use makes it easier to damage the excavator.


3. Appropriate engine speed (medium throttle): Due to the lower requirements for working pressure and flow of the breaker (such as 20-ton excavator, working pressure 160-180KG, flow 140-180L / MIN), the medium throttle can work; If the large throttle works, it will not only increase the striking force, but also cause the hydraulic oil to heat up abnormally, which will also cause great damage to the hydraulic system.


4, timely replacement of oil seals: oil seals are wearing parts, it is recommended that the breaker work for about 600-800 hours, replace the breaker oil seal once; when the oil seal leaks oil, you must immediately stop working and replace the oil seal.


5. It is strictly forbidden to run the air: Air run will not only cause the oil temperature to rise, but also produce abnormal vibrations which will cause impurities to enter the rigid body of the hammer and contaminate the hydraulic oil and damage the hydraulic system.


Frequent vibration and stress concentration


During the crushing operation, the high-frequency vibration of the crushing hammer, the stress concentration parts of the stick and the boom are greatly affected. The long-term crushing operation will cause the gap of the structural parts to become larger, and the machine will easily shake and noise during operation.


In order to minimize the deformation of structural parts, the following items need to be paid attention to during operation:


1. Do not apply impact force horizontally or upwards during the crushing process, and do not retract the stick cylinder to the shortest state. This operation mode will result in rigid contact, the working device structure will lose the buffering and protection function of the hydraulic system, and the working load may greatly exceed the bearing range of the structure.


2. Do not operate in a rotary manner. Do not swing the chisel when the breaker hammer penetrates the rock. The structural parts of the excavator are very sensitive to lateral impact. This operation will produce 3 to 4 times the lateral impact force of the working device, and the service life of the structural parts will be greatly reduced.


3. Don't pecking by lowering the boom. This operation will produce a large additional impact load, causing the instantaneous load to exceed the structural component's bearing limit.
