5 Operating Modes Of Excavator

There are 5 ways of excavator operation.

The application range of the excavator is very wide, and many kinds of operations such as the hydraulic hammer, the hydraulic shear, the shovel and the grab can be broken, disassembled and captured by changing the different accessory devices.

(1) backhoe operation

Backhoe operations are generally carried out below ground level, mainly mining.

1) use the bucket rod and the bucket to work together. When the bucket hydraulic cylinder and connecting rod, bucket rod hydraulic cylinder and bucket rod are all 90 degrees, the maximum digging force and digging efficiency can be obtained.

2) try to make the direction of the bucket teeth consistent with the mining direction, and reduce the digging resistance and bucket tooth wear.

(2) positive shovel operation

The shovel operation is usually carried out above the ground, and the rotation of the bucket is opposite to that of the backhoe. Use a bucket hydraulic cylinder to scrape the ground. The digging force of the shovel is less than that of the backhoe.

(3) ditch digging operation

By matching the bucket corresponding to the width of the ditch, the track on both sides is parallel to the side line to be trenching, so that the trenching operation can be carried out efficiently. When digging a wide ditch, dig both sides first, and finally dig the middle part.

(4) loading operation

When loading operations, the excavator should be moved to the rear of the loading truck to avoid the shovel when it comes to the truck cab or other personnel, and it is easier to load behind the truck than it is next to the truck. Loading and unloading from front to rear is more convenient and large loading capacity.

(5) leveling the ground

1) first fill and flatten the ground and move the bucket forward and horizontally.

2) when excavators move, do not use pressure or shovel to smooth the ground.

3) smooth the ground ahead of the front of the excavator, then gently pull the rod and slowly lift the arm. When the rod exceeds the vertical position, the arm is carefully lowered and the machine is operated, so that the bucket moves horizontally.
